ponderingWonder if the guy who coined an Alabama Hot Pocket was diss’n Alabama.laughing
Anyway disrespect can be humorous as in woofi’n we did in grammar school or rap as in the movie 8-mile w/ M&M.  When it enters the arena of RWG it starts to get ugly.  Back in assertiveness training seminars & possibly TR there was the de-escalation conversation that says that anyone can do other than agreeing with another by offering (some of & probably others) 1) acknowledgement of the other’s position or 2) appreciation of the other’s position or statement or 3) respect that the other’s position is his & differs from one’s own.
Then too, there is also the idea – so what?
respect (v.) Look up respect at Dictionary.com
1540s, "to regard," from Middle French respecter "look back; respect; delay," from Latin respectere, frequentative of respicere (see respect (n.). Meaning "treat with deferential regard or esteem" is from 1550s. Sense of "refrain from injuring" is from 1620s. Meaning "have reference to" is from 1560s. Related:Respected; respecting.

To respect the person was "show undue bias toward (or against) based on regard for the outward circumstances of a person;" hence respecter of persons, usually with negative …

i.e. I may just show respect for you because I think you are retarded & keep the rest to myself. laughing

“that anyone can do other than agreeing with another by offering (some of & probably others) 1) acknowledgement of the other’s position or 2) appreciation of the other’s position or statement or 3) respect that the other’s position is his & differs from one’s own.” ← yesyesyesyes

And, i hasten to add that such differences even can be leveraged …

see “How to see an elephant with multi-person binocular vision.”.

lost in a previous rwg session was mark’s idea that we could refer to something like [thesaurus disrespect].  my own preference woud be that  interactive visual one that mark used to refer to.

As an experiment in “assertiveness training” vis-a-vis the repetition of the same words over & over & over again, I recommend the following experiment: (thought or reality)

Lick a turd 2 or 3 times & see if it tastes any better on the subsequent licks. laughing

Try it on your own asshole for “extra credit” – you are already set up for it.laughing

it isn’t gender specific – could do it to yourself since you are already there.
Is that your RWG or are you just repeating yourself.   Maybe get in a few more licks & I’ll get back to you tuit

It’s not rwg. It’s a valid question. I honestly can’t tell which one this is because you mix them a lot. Most people are very authentic with these things. You munge them up, almost as if you don’t want people to know if you are actually being authentic or not.
