γενέσθαι - Genesthai

Somewhat genius to chose a word such as “becoming” as one’s name. The Ego almost disappears.
Some other day I will relate a dream I had where there were 3 of them.

interesting indeed … it translates to “happens”, “take place”, ”to become” null … i did not expect that.   i had thought it meant “gardener”.   so his name is all about manifestation null

My interpretaion was becoming or about to become – manifesting is after that.

An analogy might be developing a photograph – light shining in changes the chemistry of silver (B&W) & a latent picture begins showing up.

so “genesthai” is naming a #catalysts … the light which causes the manifestation to happen.

Cool. I am glad I have been bringing up #GW’s legacy a few times lately. It brought the vibration into experience … and now here you are both finalizing on that vibration. Very nice! Perfect flow in action.

Nah.  Just like BEING is a hard word to grasp fully, BECOMING is also hard to grasp.  Keep trying.
Don’t get caught up in the analogy – go for what is really so.
seth other than the singular/plural mix cofusion of catalysts I don’t see your conclusion.

Additionally if you can separate the distinction of BEING from doing maybe you can separate BECOMING from what is becoming or what has become before.

well you and i, mark, have a different take on what “BEING” means … so we really shouldn’t use that word to communicate between us.

But we both should know what a catalyst is  … as something that makes a process happen, but does not get consumed in the process.  In your analogy of developing a photograph, the light could be looked at as catalyzing  the occurrence of the  image on the photographic plate.   In the case of a Gardner (like i thought Genesthai meant) the Gardner canalizes the process of plants growing in a garden.   In both cases something is BECOMING which was not the catalyst.  That was my only observation.

XOR you missed the point for your own grok of the analogy instead! Nice!
p.s. becoming is a NOW version of an ego in transformation & possibility & maybe even disappearing

oh okay, is your gestalt about the moment in which some thingey (spirit whatever) becomes – that being the Genesthai moment ?

were this thingey to have an #InsideOutside then, that would also be the moment in which it’s #ego would become an #edge.    huh?

that moment where the thingey gets squinched off from the whole

Haughty cuisine indeed - dear bro!  I communicate a idea & you disagree with my use of my words & imply I shouldn’t use the words because you don’t understand them the way I do.  null

becoming – perhaps the spark

sorry null no.  i am ok, and you are ok in this regard mark null

Read your words & understand their meaning – your intention notwithstanding.

The inside-out thingy is your wallaby – not connected. It is mostly a verb not a noun with insides & outsides – motion not what is moving or where it is going – will that has no why or because.

seems like we could credit #nature (#christ, #GOD , #LOA , the/a #universe etc...)
with that which moves,
but we can not think why it does, or #will it ourselves.
i mean somebody has to #own it, ...
null no ?

no. only a selfie needs to own something.

well …

how can something become without separating itself from that which it is not?

seth

tag #becoming #Ego #selfie #separate #separateness

would suggest that dualism may be your problem in thinking not mine – contemplate a while – maybe on unity

Here is another take on the word “γενέσθαι - Genesthai” …
Entheogens

Musical instruments and avian adornments are not the only methods used to aid a Shaman in journeying through the unseen realms.  Entheogens are often employed as well.  The term entheogen was coined by ethnobotanists in 1979 as a replacement for terms such as hallucinogen or psychedelic.  It is a contraction of the Greek words ἔνθεος (entheos) and γενέσθαι (genesthai).  Used by the Greeks as praise for artists, the word entheogen can be taken to mean “full of the Gods” or “possessed by the Divine.”  The term is used in relation to Shamanism to describe the multitude of psychotropic chemicals found in plant, fungi and animal sources used to induce or enhance the Shaman’s journey into the spiritual worlds.
