Why we represent ...

Seth says ...
i think of a idea that has not formed completely in your mind … it is there but it has not been represented there.   now I represent it … in words, music, pictures, feelings, deeds … whatever media is appropriate.  after representing  i claim   i am  more keenly aware of that idea.

if you can honestly tell me that it remains the same after you represent something, then you are quite different inside than am i.
… and
once it is #represented it can be changed, and
once it becomes a #representation it can be connected to other things.

I #dare you to connect an un-represented thought to anything else, or
change and/or improve it.

And, if you think about it, this applies not only to thoughts,
but also to any #manifestation and/or #deeds.

for example it just dawned on me, prompted by nathan’s comment, that ...

i procrastinate thinking certain thoughts, just like i procastinate doing certain deeds …
so the idea that we can generalize “passing something through #will”,
and apply it to both thinking and doing, now holds water.

tag #procrastination

… now in a way this is not surprising … kind of a  #DOH …
but once we have manifested that thought so clearly here,
does that not make it more vivid and usefult  for us !!  ← ironic, eh null

Yes. Passing a thought through will also puts it out in the mirror so that we can examine it with our senses. Otherwise it’s like putting on makeup without a mirror, it’s only imagination. The mirror (what we normally call reality) is what allows us to observe what we create by thinking. And just like a real mirror, it is only illusion. The real creation is inside us. (Listen to Michael Jackson “Man in the mirror”)

well sorry null,  that is your story … your belief … not mine …

when i put something out there in the world, i do not put it in an “illusion”.
it is not an illusion that others can then interact with my production null

They don’t interact with your production. They interact with their production using your production as clues in how to build their own. We each build our own reality. It is nice that they can see yours in the mirror so they can copy it.

… otherwise they would have to be trying to figure out what is only in your head.

Yep. We are always creating new reality. That is the whole purpose of being here, other than enjoying it.

What we are not doing is uncovering some reality that pre-existed, as most people have been thinking we are doing.

sorry, your silly null  … “using my production as clues” … IS … “interacting with my production”.

Your insistence of focusing on the the represention inside yourself, rather than that which comes from outside, is just a peculiar thingy that you in particular do.

I do not do that … it is not my thingey …
i null to focus on the thing itself, rather than a #representation of it
whether that thingey is #inside me or #outside me.

I call “focusing on the #representation of it” imagining.
When it comes to reality experience, I don’t do that either. I have the experience.

When it comes to understanding, I understand that to make any change in the mirror out there, I must move what is inside me. What most people do is try and move what is out there, and in the process inadvertently move what is inside … it does kind of work, as the majority of living people on earth’s lives will attest to, but it is not the most efficient way to interact with the reality experience and get results.

i do not know about that … i think the common man has a firm knowledge of what is #inside themselves vs what is #outside themselves … and they “move” or change things just exactly where they be.   I think it is you who seem to be confused about where to move things (internal or external)  … and i say that based upon my experience with how you interact with me … see #VooDoo.

I get clear and clean results when I go to “do something”.

The average person gets quite the muddle of muggle results. Don’t believe me? Watch the news. Or just listen to all the woe stories of others.

According to Abraham less than 1% of all people deliberately create. With all the teachings coming in right now from so many different good sources, that is steadily rising.

Look around you in an average day. Notice those who are getting easy, flowing results, and are lively and happy. They will be about 10 in 1000 for individuals. (groups can collectively tap-in to this flow … the numbers are different for groups)

Why we represent?  … because we didn’t do a good job of presenting it in the first place !null

word-forming element meaning "back to the original place; again, anew, once more," also with a sense of "undoing," c. 1200, from Old French and directly from Latin re- "again, back, anew, against," "Latin combining form conceivably from Indo-European *wret-, metathetical variant of *wert- "to turn" [Watkins]. Often merely intensive, and in many of the older borrowings from French and Latin the precise sense of re- is lost in secondary senses or weakened beyond recognition. OED writes that it is "impossible to attempt a complete record of all the forms resulting from its use," and adds that "The number of these is practically infinite ...." The Latin prefix became red- before vowels and h-, as in redactredeemredolentredundant.
