What is fastblogit ?

Introduction

Fastblogit is a node in the Internet mind. It is a conversation space which brings together in groups the various trains of thought, subjects, text, pictures & other media self-organized by it's authors using folksonomy tags and many other features.

FastBlogIt is the absolute easiest & quickest way to express yourself on the internet. In addition to being able to include media of different kinds FastBlogIt authors can:

Form links inside & outside of FastBlogIt
Tag items (posts) with words and phrases to find & remember them by. An author may tag other author's items for similar retrieval.
Be anonymous or public & can create your own groups easily
Comment easily on all postings not marked private.
Create public and private items (posts)
Format items with a rich text editor (RTE)
Add emoticons to indicate emotional context for comments and items
Add pictures & links to the headers of groups
For a time, produce a banner advertizement to be selected randomly for appearance in the header of all rooms (some size rules apply).
Provide links in the body of an item or comment which, when clicked upon, will put the viewer in a room of items selected by tags or tag collections, titles, specific permalinks, & more.
Use the item link to cross-reference one item to another. [see: item 1994]
Get a list of items & comments added since a last checkpoint by pressing the button
Navigate forwards and backwards in the Common River of items and any Group or tag room by pressing the or buttons and return to the Home Group with the button.
Conduct hyper-chats using a combination of the group (or inter-group), news, quotes, tags & comments features.
