create a free blog at thoughts

… i started an “open blog” (er, group) there  http://true-sentences.thoughts.com/

note they are giving out sub domains … hmmm … generous

lots of ideas here enlightened

note, they are “gameified”.   on my profile i already have 2 karma points.

newhmmm … starting today i had 6 karma points … then did some likes and a couple of trivial comments … now i am up to 12.

how i can use them ?

this seems to be their news ticker.
like Facebook they have a whole lot of memes floating by … and some poetry too.

Yep. I’m not surprised. Gaming is in

Now you have an exact template to figure out what is different about thoughts.me than thoughts.com as well as things to want. This makes the job of knowing what fbi is much easier.

Just a thought – those who are into software patents may have concerns etc.

They are not doing anything unique any more than fbi is doing anything unique. All the components are the same basic stuff found at all blogging and social sites. Just a different packaging. I’ve looked, other than the namebrand itself, nothing there is patentable.

Sometimes look & feel is fungible.laughingyes

Well we don’t look like them at all! They look more like a normal blog … which would not be fungible anyway.
i’m going to play over there as time permits …. they got some good ideas … the tag cloud on the front door was great … i am not sure about the survey to get started … but they were automatically able to put some groups in my interest catagory into what might be my personal river.    ours is probably feature rich compared to them … but are they the right features to attract the right authors … something for me to ponder.

yeah i think earning (and spending) Karma points is a great idea … might even solve some probalems that ordinarily would have no good solutions.  i am going to start a thought devoted to it very shortly.

Good idea. But I don’t like the name. Karma is old school and thrown out with LOA etc. I am sure there are plenty of other great names.

so what term could posibly be better for something that you earn by “good” action and then can spend it for things that you want?  … i’m game.   thing is people already know what you are talking about … that has to be a big plus.

Well personally I don't even like the idea that you have to do good. The multiverse is not about doing good, it is about having experiences. All experiences are equal, there is no good and bad. There is only that which is in alignment with your indented experiences … that is the only “good” that exists … and may be totally different from someone else’s good. It’s all relative. True karma has nothing to do with others. It is entirely dependent on what you are doing in relationship to all of you in all verses.

I would love to see vibrational terminology used. That will be much more hip and accepted by the younger crowd. Traditional ideas like karma have served man for a long time, but are quickly on their way out. If this is to be a new age baby, it needs to be up on the leading edge of the new age that is fast becoming.

yep, “good” is relative.

i’m all for “vibrational terminology” … looking forward to your proposals there.

incidentally to be useful i think we need both the earn and the spend to have tangible consequences … to both ends of the transaction.

i chalked up like thousands of points at https://www.reddit.com/ … but those did not have any noticable effects on what i could do there and how others saw me … except that they could see that i had those points.   that would be an example of what i would call “no tangible consequences”.
laughing Yep good vibrations went out in the 60’s didn’t it?

Yep. Sounds good. Notice that the most successful games out there are ones in which you can get at least a little dirty too. People like that possibility, even when they don’t utilize it.

Interestingly, right now I am living with Katrina. She has been to school for game design and just today asked what I was working on and was excited about it.
