cmap cloud & cmaptools in the cloud | cmap

This was the tool i used to draw most of these mentographs.
They have grown a lot since i used the tool.
Now they have a free version in the cloud.
I have belonged to their facebook group for a long time.

I wonder if Thinking Domains can integrate well with them ?

i wonder if i can iframe the live one in the cloud … well that doesnt work yet … might need some study. use the live address above instead.

Exports to a csl or an svg.
There might be a way to capture that process directly.

You probably don’t see my cmap because it is my account, but I do.

now iFrame shows ok … i might even be able to log in with it. …. originally it showd as the last iFrame i put somewhere … i have to think where that was.

I really should disable iframes in the news. They tend to make a mess there.
They are not even that great in comments.
Prolly only thoughts is best.

no that is not what i mean. the first time i put this iframe in my thought, it showed the last iFrame image that i had uploaded a long tim ago. Happened to the one in my thought here … and happened to the one in your comment too.

so the first time i put what i thought was the iFrame address of my mentograph in the iFrame, the system echoed the iFrame picture from thought 20198 … which is

seemed like the system confused them.

The strange thing is that after some kine of reload the true iFrame came back.

The only plugins I could find in my first try to deal with svg’s in the RTE were buggy. There may still be a good one or could probably write one. Ultimately yes, I prefer SVG’s for anything that is not a photo.

well i thought i was uploading SVGs here in fbi1 wihout any special plugin. they display just like a .jpg or .png … do they not?

i do believe all modern browsers have been supporting SVG for the past 4 to 6 years, without plugins. I see no reason that they cannot be uploaded to a thought.

Of course. The browser and a thought can support them. But the RTE must also support the <svg> tag or it either gets filtered out or cannot be edited cleanly around like an image can when you edit the thought. If it is, that is great!

Okay. Since I am pulling the RTE from CDN … it is possible they upgraded or fixed SVG since I first tried it too. Glad it works.

i didn’t, of course, mention that i had to go into HTML mode to edit the URL of the SVG. but now seems i no longer need to do that

all i need to mentograph is a circle …. and rotable streatchabel arrow … or a point to point arrow.
