Vote Smart

The NPAT survey at Vote Smart shows the candidates official positions on a standard set of issues.  Those that have answered the questionnaires are shown below with NPAT links. Note you can navigate from the links to other pertinent information like voting record (if any) and ratings by special interest groups. I consider those without NPAT links to have some reason for not wanting the public to know where they declare they stand on the primary issues.  I have left out the independents & other parties since they have not appeared on my radar screen yet.  Note that those in red below have in most cases refused to supply the NPAT information.

Republican Candidates:
  • John McCain - NPAT
  • Fred Thompson - NPAT
  • Sam Brownback
  • Mitt Romney
  • Tom Tancredo
  • Mike Huckabee - NPAT
  • Duncan Hunter - NPAT
  • Newt Gingrich - NPAT
  • John Cox
  • Jim Gilmore
  • Ron Paul
  • Tommy Thompson - NPAT
  • Chuck Hagel - NPAT
Democrat Candidates:
  • Barak Obama - NPAT
  • Hillary Clinton
  • John Edwards - NPAT
  • Joseph Biden
  • Christopher Dodd
  • Dennis Kucinich - NPAT
  • Bill Richardson - NPAT
  • Al Gore - NPAT (old)

I realize that those on the left, like Mrs. Clinton, need to take polls to figure out what they believe!  Some of the disease seems to have metastasized to the political right as well. Ugg! I fear for the future of the whole body politic if everyone forgets how to acquire & apply leadership! PC is one of the disease's first symptoms; it setting limits on what you can believe & express.

In addition to the NPAT questionaire, WND has this forum of questions on all kinds of topics including the Ask the Candidates.  This forum also includes questions for BUSH et. al.
If you ever attend a rally these would be nice ones to ask.  If you ever become a citizen reporter these might be nice ones to try to get a candidate to answer.

BTW, the M$M now controls the questions asked.  The candidates are so afraid of FoxNews on the Democrat Party side that they hold their debates on all the other networks; I wonder why (rhetorical).

Why would any party in its right mind hold their internal debate on a channel that was overtly squed against it (rhetorical).
Prove the skew, Dude!
Just start counting the incidents ... and/or compare it to MSNBC's coverage which is squed the other way.  If you don't want to do the detailed work on a study, then you'll just have to take my word for it.
I definitely don't take your word for it. I watch instead;  nothing like first hand witnessing. As a matter of fact I would prefer that they be less fair & balanced to counter the CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC cabals of biasses for the left-wing!

BTW, this is a node on the NPAT questions & questions for candidates & politicians; not political RWG.  Most of the last discussion will be arbitrarily dismissed when I get a . Please discontinue off-topic stuff.
