Was anyone else there? The picture looks like it was computer altered to make a crowd appear to be bigger. If someone in that crowd farted I suspect O would have had a lot more people fainting.
Projecting pictures of very large things accurately is a high art.  Yesterday i stumbeled into a biker convention in Snohomish Washingon.  The picture here is represents a sea of people milling around 5 city blocks.  So i suspect that these pictures of the Portalnd megaevent are pretty representative of what actually happened.  I've found that a slide show is best way to project the many pictures which accurately portray a large happening.  So if your really interested in knowing what happened there look for a slid show or a movie ... not into the details of just one photo.  If Obama has one of his megaevents in Seattle i'll probaly be there with my camera but don't hold your breath, Washington is already firmly in his court.
