Obama Security Clearance

About: could barack obama get a security clearance?

I have the experience of hiring & firing software technicians & employees. First entrance into the process was a resume. Second step was a phone call to the prospect. Not all phone calls passed on the prospect. Nobody got a phone call whose resume was not qualified for the position. Had there been work involving governmental or security sensitive work there would have been a security form & background investigation similar to the ones I went through to become a naval officer. The purpose of all the screening is to get to the truth of the information in the resume, background information form & to discover what has been left out which would impact the applicant's ability to do the job & which would make a candidate unsuitable to handle classified information.

I wonder if Barack Hussein Obama really could/would or has passed a security clearance? How do we seem to bypass such things when it comes to the Commander-in-chief? Trust, but verify should be the order of the day. Lets verify our candidates as hard as we verify the chads & votes. How many lies are in this politician's resume, his background check? What is till left out & unexplained. Why leave it to the M$M to do the investigations. For CIA & FBI & some others you also have to pass a lie detector test. Wouldn't that be wonderful for politicians?

Guilt by association with radical left at least has more traction than guilt by association with radical preachers. One does wonder, however, whether all of the negative campaigning of republicans will end up being these guilt by association type of claims.

If one hangs out with a bunch of mafia members it goes a long way toward legal conviction on racketeering. In the case of politics it's not a legal argument so much (unless it is) as these associations need to be explained. Does a candidate who has had close relationships with an unrepentant terrorist deserve a pass by the electorate? That's why the ultimate pass on O's church would be a declaration of the principles of 714. Similarly associations with communists, terrorists, drug dealers & money launderers (if found) should warrant the candidates declarations upholding American principles & laws from the point of view of a principle (like 714). I personally, in the thinking of the 3rd street politics, would go further & say that it is an impeachable offense if the candidate lies & then is elected & goes in the opposite direction; for example if O appointed Wright as HUD secretary or the national chaplain.

- Associations testify to a candidate's character which is part of the quad: issues, character, principles & experience which must go into selecting a president.

The fun part of the above quad is that you can permute the 4 so that each one becomes a context within which you examine the other 3. For example you can have:

[quad: character, experience, principles, issues] or

[quad: principles, issues, experience, character] or

[quad: experience, issues, principles, character] or

[quad: issues, principles, experience, character] etc.
Each is a different view of self & being of the candidate.

Of course the things you listed are not quads in the sense of quads. They are just the permutation of a sequence. But you could make it inot quads like this ... in the format [context,subject,verb,object] ...

[character obama collect principles,experience,issues]
[principles obama collect character,experience,issues]
[experience obama collect character, principles, issues]
[issues obama collect character, principles, experience]

You could substitute any verb you want that applies to what you are doing ... such as examine, scrutinize, defend, smear, or deney etc. Not sure where this is going but i though i would at least put it in a legitimate quad.

Yep, I was using these more as a 4-tuple the first element being the context & the other three being elements to examine in that context. The ordering of the 4-tuple other than the first element providing the context is too subtle to explain in detail, but might go along the lines of What of the following 3 resources are priority for the candidate actions & behavior?

So the [4-tuple: issues, principles, experience, character] might mean examine in the context of issues the principles, experience & character of the candidate. What are the principles that the candidate applies to the issues? What experience does the candidate apply & draw from to solve the issues? What is the character of the candidate such that we can believe that he will get the issues fixed? The others would generate similarly themed questions to ponder.
