Mythbusters is doing a show specifically on these myths that are going around.  Word has it that they will take 10 bull dogs, put lipstick on them, and then have a panel of 5 people decide whether any of them turned into hockey moms.  Conversely they select 10 hockey moms and wip off their lipstick and then the panel rules on whether they transform into bull dogs.   Then they move on and apply liberal amounts of lipstick to 10 pigs.  The pigs will then be examined by vets to determine if they are still pigs. 

We will just see where the truth of this matter actually lies.
