The woman has this mindset (separate from O's campaign?); but it is a mindset of a supporter who apparently has very racist views.

And O's fearless attack-dog Joe "Hairplugs" Biden pulls more racism into the picture in South Carolina pandering to the large black vote with:

Sorry it's too much of a stretch for me to get from "That will be a transformative event in American politics and internationally ... that all by itself will be significant" to "Last Gasp? Threaten a Race War! The Racist ticket". Don't forget, "spin is essentially lying".

Mostly partisans on the Democrat side of the aisle have mentioned race. Look carefully for Conservatives saying anything at all about race except to expose the race-mindedness on the liberal side.

My thought now is that this all came from Rush ... probably from this show that some blogger spun as threatening Obama's life. Now me, i won't go that far ... i won't spin a threat against Obama's life from ... But i am curious ... honestly now .... really honestly .... (1) did your posting of this item come after you listened to that show? All it takes is removing your head from the sand. Biden & Ali's statements are both about race but not the same moment. Ali is a supporter & Biden is your VP candidate. Both are racists in their remarks by my definition.

For one thing, Fatimah did not threaten a race war, as you spun in your titel, she predicted one. She is a commentator for an obscure daily newspaper. To tie her to the ticket in any way and say her rediculous remarks have anything to do with Biden's remarks and the attitude of ticket is disengenuous in the extreme. You pulled this one out of your ass. You should stick it back up in there.

You have put so many things in your list and are now using this to mean that if someone mentions race in any context that they are racist. That is absurd. Race exists and we must be able to draw distinctions of race for practical purposes. Take those things out of the list for which we can (and in some cases must) distinguish between the races. So when i said amen to your definition i was thinking more of the following:

There may be other behaviors to put into that list. But just drawing the distinction of race is not racism. Perhaps some day the distinction will be not more important than eye color - but you cannot apply that to today's world.

The Biden quote I got from Drudge & the link to Ali as well. Drudge got it from the post linked before Rush ever mentioned it. Too bad you can't focus on the content rather than the messenger. Increase dosage on your meds, please!

You still didn't justify your claim of racism against Biden.

If you say this didn't come from Rush i will have to take your word for it. My opinion is that stirring up race riots is not something that either Fatima or Rush or you should get involved in. It is not something that i would amplify by repeating. But you do what you want, bro.

Biden is simple. He was campaigning in a state which has a large population of black voters & "But he particularly singled out the meaning of electing someone who is black. "That will be a transformative event in American politics and internationally," Biden said. Let me translate that for you he's telling black voters to vote for a black candidate because he is black.

You are totally stretching it. For one thing, to be honest and straight forward about this, you do not need to tell black voters to vote for Obama because he is black. No candidate would be foolish enough to say or even mean such a proposition. Obama election will be a transformative event in American politics, not because he is black, but because he stands for the people rather than the corrupt wall street mentality. It will be a transormative event internationally because he will reject the Bush doctrine and be more like Teddy Rosevelt, speak softly and carry a big stick (his choice of words not mine) instead of the sqaggering bravado of a McBush.

You cannot pin racism on Biden because of that quote and where he said it. I suggest you make this entire item go dark. It represents just about the worst kind of spin that i have seen in this campaign ... and i have seen some doozies.

... why mention his race if that wasn't what was important? You may eventually want to acknowledge that Joe "Hairplugs" Biden is a loose cannon. By definition of racism still says that if you use the distinctions of race to explain, urge, excuse or manipulate the people you are a racist - pure & simple! In this blog I have violated it mostly to expose racism in the press & liberals in general. Biden's stock for being replaced increased recently:

Note what is in quotes and what is outside of quotes. But even if he actually did mention that he is black (which i still doubt), what he said was true, and it does not make him a racist, your simplistic definition of racism notwistanding.

Apparently you are repealing your "Amen to that !" comment on my 714 defining racism. It is hard to live a truly racist-free life in body,soul & spirit. It is even harder to live one if one has close ties to the race industry or is a partisan. I commend those who actually do. I think Obama only pretends; his biography Dreams from My Father - a story of race & inheritance has many overtones beginning with the title page. Essentially to live a raceless life one has to get over being a member of a race against the tide, slings & arrows that continually bring him back. I'm sure that O would love to drive a raceless campaign, but he can't quite give up the benefits there are in the demographics of race. He is clever enough to leave most of it to his surrogates.
