Another thing at this point at this time comes from ontological resources.  About 1 in a million is likely to comprehend this.  The nature of Being & being is such that it defies description & words.  You may know when you encounter a being, through that same resource within you, but words & deeds are independent.  Being & Spirit are just about interchangeable words.  Bring the concepts forward & you can get the notion why AlQueda or any wide group of people, inspired &/or brain washed by ideas & a gripping ideology can do things congruent with evil or good where the leaders can always claim plausable deniability. Bill & Hillary were good at it. BO is superb.

Just how in hell do you get from spirit and being to Al Queda and then to to Bill and Hillary in one paragraph?  Might it be a symptom of too much loose unexamined association.  I'd really watch that ... if you keep it up, your mind is gonna end up being one big blob of mush.
I told you & maybe others that just about 1 in a million is likely to comprehend it.

Well part is very understandable ... what works is: "The nature of Being & being is such that it defies description & words.  You may know when you encounter a being, through that same resource within you, but words & deeds are independent.  Being & Spirit are just about interchangeable words.  Bring the concepts forward & you can get the notion why AlQueda or any wide group of people, inspired &/or brain washed by ideas & a gripping ideology can do things congruent with evil or good".   But then you go off the deep end with "where the leaders can always claim plausable deniability. Bill & Hillary were good at it. BO is superb" which has nothing to do with a group spirit, nor is it an example of such.

Your picture is just a picture of group dynamics -- it applies to any reasonably sized political group of people.  Again you are misusing the powers of your mind to make associations.    All inferences on things that can be associated, are not valid.  You need to look at your thinking more critically.  You need, at least, to weed out the ridiculous ones.  The ones which start to make sense to you after they have been repeated 100 times.  Maybe, perhaps stop listening to the McCain/Palin propaganda.  They are loosing, and they are getting desperate, and they are starting to try to get the Joe Sixpacks, who really can't think very well, to believe that Obama is evil ... wink wink not like you.  Think for yourself bro.  Check your associations before you publish them.  See, at least, if they pass the laugh test.

Mark de LA says

The example is --> here.

Mark de LA says

So because you can't find a paper trail, or any cause and effect trail at all, you just assume, because of the spirit of the thing, that the connection must exist. That is one of the worst uses of the concept of spirit that i have ever heard.  Shades of evil bus drivers and some of the  aberrations that floated through my mind while i wandered the streets of SF stoned out of my goard.
Nope! Perceptive but inaccurate as to what I am saying.  Bill C. got together his white house people with Tony Robbins and had some kind of seminar for energizing his administration. Many people began to do things on their own (like the hiring of Craig Livingston who decided to get the raw FBI files on 80 or so members of Congress) contrary to statutes.  BO's connections to Alinsky are not person-to-person, but an alignment in methodology & tactics (his community organizing which also carried Ayers into the mix; personal & alignment). Hillary's connection was person-to-person (interviews). If you examined mine you would find my alignment with Rudolf Steiner & CFR etc. Because BO is so tight-assed with his political formative years with M$M collusion to keep it under wraps & because he has only a short 2 year undistinguished record (mostly running for president) in the US Senate we have to look backward to examine BO's character to guess what kind of president he would make. He has aligned himself & in some cases went back later & denied it with people who are not friends of the US. Politicians on both sides will say what they think their voters want to hear.

Mark de LA says
The latter point is simple but maybe not easy.  Christians inspired by Jesus Christ founded a religion & do things congruent & in congruent with him.  The same can be said for motivational speakers & presidential candidates. The plausible deniability comes in in that we are not likely to find a paper trail or meeting recordings on Bill Clinton et. al. on such things as to how Hillary got 100,000 dollars out of a 1000 dollar investment. Nor are we likely to find "evidence" in BO's case (I thought O could be confused with Oprah). Nevertheless connections exist .  I am well aware of the fact that we are ALL connected (by the Earth). Furthermore, we are prolly connected by at least 6 degrees of separation (I saw the move & the game show). It's the connections at one or two levels that concern my investigation & that of others. You wouldn't deny a connection if a rabble-rouser ginned up a mob to cause havoc in your neighborhood.  It's a little more subtle when it's done through the internet & private conversations. Still more subtle when the M$M chimes in & Congress supports it.  In a political year the lines are crossed minute by minute. Do I need to repeat the picture of BO coming out from between the pillars in Denver acceptance speech for you folks? It is being & spiritual (so is Ahriman) - no written marching orders, no organization & no actual rules for radicals. Nevertheless the connections exist.  One implausible denial is that BO could sit in a church pew for ~20 years (even on & off) & not know what Wright was all about. The same goes for Ayers-Obama.

Mark, he voted against a bad piece of legislation.  That it contained that provision, which Obama said he would have supported on its own, is incidental.  Would you have a legislator vote for a bill just because it contains some justifiable measure but otherwise is flawed beyond the point of acceptability?   Here is the truth of the matter ...
source: Fight the smears
  • At the time Barack voted against a bill containing language designed to protect infants who were “born alive,” such protection was already on the books as Illinois state law.[1]
  • The accusations against Barack are so reckless that not even the Republican state senator who sponsored the bill will support them. In fact, he freely admits that “None of those who voted against SB-1082 favored infanticide.”[2]
  • The bill was opposed by many legislators and groups like the Illinois Medical Society because of the unintended impact it would have had on other laws and legal precedents in Illinois.[3]
  • Barack is on the record[3] saying that he would have supported a similar bill that came up in Congress -- but that didn’t pose a threat to a woman’s right to choose the way the Illinois bill did.[4]

Why do you keep bringing this up when it has been so exhaustively debunked?

Mark de LA says
Yep, I knew you drank the Kool-Aid on that one. He lies & you repeat it. He said it was bad legislation that didn't match the Federal one, but it did.  He bottled it up in committee so it wouldn't pass because he is afraid of disturbing R-v-W & his abortion-loving demographics might use it against him.

The thing to realize about Barack is that he is not like us ... no he was born in 1961, not the 40's.  That means he was a toddler during the whole flower power rebellion against the Viet Nam war.  He wasn't in the same world experienceing the social environment of radicals like Ayers, Alinsky, Rap Brown, Angela Davis, and me, who were fighting against that war.  He missed it ... he was a baby then.  Fact: he did not pal around with those revolutionaries.  He came of age in the 80's, the Regan era ... quite a different time, quite a different mind set.  He is of the me first generation.  He thinks differently.  Read it here, from a different perspective.  That is one of the primary reasons why taking your disconnected facts of his associations out of context does not imply the kinds of things that you seem to want them to imply.
Would you have us believe in spite of his formative political years everything that now comes out of his mouth? .. everything that he has said only after he decided to run for the Senate & the Presidency? ... What do you think his real core values are? ... His ideology? He's only 8 years younger than my wife ... & yet she grasps the early years of BO. I certainly can because I have experienced it all (before & after he was born)! In 10613 I will ask a question which will discriminate between the 2 main candidates for president of the United States. I wish it had been asked in the middle of the boring pablum of last night's prompted dual monologues.

Those are also states where  republicans are trying to purge the voter roles and  challenging the flood of new democratic registrations.

I think that the intention of organizations like ACORN & Project Vote & others in registering so many inelligible people to vote is simply to overwhelm the state resources to counter it.  One hope might be to cause the states to rethink allowing felons, illegal aliens, late registrations, out of state participants, homeless etc to vote. Overwhelming the system is another of Alinsky's tactics.
To a rational person it would seem like a fingerprint & valid driver license (or ID) should be enough to verify a person's elligibility. An up to date fingerprint database should be sufficient. I even like the purple ink finger to make sure that the vote is done only once. Obviously something transparent would be better which was sensitive to black light.
Opponents say that the final step in actual voting screens out the invalid ones. The ones that get through, vote by mail, vote across state lines, & those that are felons but waiting for some entity to say no could throw a close election. Remember 2000.

ALSO, attending a meeting & training the members are 2 different things. Did McCain say he didn't attend the meeting where the photograph was taken?

My point here is that ACORN is not to be shunned and disassociated just because of a minuscule percentage of registration forms.   They are and have been doing a good job with encouraging people to become voting citizens.  That is a valid part of practicing democracy. But apparently, now, right wingers have another swear word, "ACORN",  to add to their list which includes "ACLU".  They are also working on an excuse to de-legitimization the election when Obama wins.  Thing is nobody except right wing Joe Six Packs and Rush Limbaughs are buying into that.  Most indepandant undedicde voters do not fall into that class.  After the election perhaps the Republican party will see a way to reconstitute itself as the party of small government and libertarian principals (Eisenhower, Regan, etc) ... rather than wallowing in the mud with McCarthists smears.  When that happpens, perhaps i can vote republican again.
The above is ad hominem Coon Piss & should be regarded as such!

Or even better it seems that the GOP is just pissed because Obama has registered so many new voters.  Cool, they even got me to register my wife to vote for the first time in her life.

And, btw, since we are perusing the whole truth, could you vet the following facts:
source: ACORN

Fact: ACORN has implemented the most sophisticated quality-control system in the voter engagement field but in almost every state we are required to turn in ALL completed applications, even the ones we know to be problematic.

Fact: ACORN flags in writing incomplete, problem, or suspicious cards when we turn them in,. Unfortunately, some of these same officials then come back weeks or months later and accuse us of deliberately turning in phony cards. In many cases, we can actually prove that these are the same cards we called to their attention.

Fact: Our canvassers are paid by the hour, not by the card . ACORN has a zero-tolerance policy for deliberately falsifying registrations, and in the cases where our internal quality controls have identified this happening we have fired the workers involved and turned them in to election officials and law-enforcement.

Fact: No criminal charges related to voter registration have ever been brought against ACORN or partner organizations. Convictions against individual former ACORN workers have been accomplished with our full cooperation, using the evidence obtained through our quality control and verification processes — evidence which in most cases WE called to the attention of authorities

Fact: Most election officials have recognized ACORN’s good work and praised our quality control systems. Even in the cities where election officials have complained about ACORN, the applications in question represent less than 1% of the thousands and thousands of registrations ACORN has collected.

Fact: Our accusers not only fail to provide any evidence, they fail to suggest a motive: there is virtually no chance anyone would be able to vote fraudulently, so there is no reason to deliberately submit phony registrations. ACORN is committed to ensuring that the greatest possible numbers of people are registered

...

Mark de LA says
Just because you write the word fact in bold before a sentence doesn't make it the truth.  Maybe we should look for a "better" truth.  I think that the chaos provided by occupying the state officials with the triage of bad & good applications provides for mischief.  I don't think you can explain why these problems show up so well in one organization & not in others. It's a bit Mickey Mouse of the organization to accept such obvious fraud.

Voter fraud is what the republican party uses as an excuse for voter suppression.  It is their policy.  However it is not the policy of the democratic party to engage in voter fraud, right wing propaganda notwithstanding.  Those of course are my opinions as seen from this side of the partisan divide between us.  The way to jump that divide is to open a truth node, agree on rules, and count actual documented cases of voter fraud vs voter suppression.  If you want to actually pursue the truth of the matter and jump this divide, i'm with you ... otherwise don't expect me to be interested in anything else you have to say on this topic.

Here is an example of the attempted voter suppression that i was talking about above.  A republican official in your state deleted 20,000 voters from the election rolls without sufficient due process.  Luckily the courts have ruled that they can vote with provisional ballots and that the government has the burden to prove the voter disqualification.  If any bozo actually tries to cast an fraudlent ballot, let them be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  There are lots of these examples ... far more, me thinks, than the actual cases of votes cast fraudulently.  This is also an example of more information available faster assisting us in our pursuit of the actual truth of the matter.

There was another case, in Ohio i think, where a republican attempted to remove all homeless from voting and the courts also wisely prevented it.  Sorry i lost the reference, but im sure it won't take you much to find it.  There is not law that says you need an address to cast a vote. The Republican Partie's adgenda of suppressing the votes of lower class people is a crying shame.

The breakaways are trying to shed the scandal that emerged six months ago when videos showed some ACORN workers giving tax tips to conservative activists posing as a pimp and prostitute. But while their names are different, most groups have kept the same offices and staff.

One of the latest groups to adopt a new name is ACORN Housing, long one of the best-funded affiliates. Now, the group is calling itself the Affordable Housing Centers of America.

Others changing their names include what were among the largest affiliates: California ACORN is now Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, and New York ACORN has become New York Communities for Change. More are expected to follow suit.

... to paraphrase Shakespeare:

From Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, 1600:

JULIET:
      'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
       By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
      Take all myself.

A turd by any other name would smell just as stinky!

Apparently paying people to gather registrations is, of itself, what creates this kind of fraud.  Acorn and Obama became prey to this just as much as the republican hopeful Gingrich did in Virginia.
source: Gingrich on the campaign trail
"We hired somebody who turned in false signatures. We turned in 11,100 – we needed 10,000 – 1,500 of them were by one guy who frankly committed fraud."
So what do i take away from this?  I conclude that partisan bloviating about political campaign errors is a waste of time; because every politician falls prey to them.  It's like pointing at a branch waving on a windy day and giving the the tree a tort.

The difference is that Acorn was one of Obama's community organizing efforts.
