Off Topic where it was

Calling Obama a "socialist" is part and parcel of the straw man smears that the McCain campaign have been running.  Here a republican totally demolishes those claims. Watch it on youtube if you missed it on the news ... the rebuttal of the "socialism" claims come about 1:48 minutes into the press conference where i took this picture.  Powell rebuts it far more eloquently that i ever could.

Look at some of the laughable changes( )BHO might bring if elected:
John Kerry, Larry Summers & Chuck Hagel. No changes there!

source: ... Rush Limbaugh said Colin Powell's decision to get behind Barack Obama appeared to be very much tied to Obama's status as the first African-American with a chance to become president.

"Secretary Powell says his endorsement is not about race," Limbaugh wrote in an e-mail. "OK, fine. I am now researching his past endorsements to see if I can find all the inexperienced, very liberal, white candidates he has endorsed. I'll let you know what I come up with."

As for Powell's statement of concern this morning about the sort of Supreme Court justices a President McCain might appoint, Limbaugh wrote: "I was also unaware of his dislike for John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Antonin Scalia. I guess he also regrets Reagan and Bush making him a four-star [general] and secretary of state and appointing his son to head the FCC. Yes, let's hear it for transformational figures
...Powell was a lousy secretary of state.  I was glad when Condi Rice took over.

I rest my case:

First of all, Obama has been going around repeating the mantra of change & failure of the last 8 years of the Bush administation policies.  Colin Powell was one of them - both a failed secretary of state & not a change from the Bush administration's failed policies! Powell was marginally a Republican. Now he is angling for a job. Colin Powell himself touted the transformation effect of the first black president.
P.S. I am registered as an independent, I am NOT undecided. I am still for none of the above.
If Obama is elected he pretends to go after the super rich, then the rich & ... then what? those who make a fairly decent living, eh?  That might eventually mean YOU! Try selling your business some day & see if BHO doesn't leave you with just a bare pittance to live off of.
P.S.S You are in la-la land with your thought experiments lately. Your unsteady hand meme is from your recent reading of the talking points, eh? Frankly, I think it is both race on Powell's side (there is plenty of his words extant to back that up) & Obama needed some military gravitas to shore up his total lack of military experience.

What is funny ... really funny ... is that someone (probably from the right wing) has speculated about potential Obama cabinet members ... note Obama has not indicated any preference for these characters ... then, assuming that he picks who you would not have him pick,  you accuse him of "No change".

you think like i thought before i knew how.
