It seems to me to be just another attempt to let a wedge issue disrupt the new government. At some point it will be hard to find anyone willing to work for the government in any capacity. The democrats have been elected to run the government, its time now for republicans to shut up and let them do it. These key slots in the government need to be filled ... its already April. Looks like this is just strategy which Rushits have chosen to obstruct and try to make the administration fail. Me thinks that they should remember what they do today when they get back in charge.

Btw, i'm glad that 11698 is private it looks like just more booring obama bashing.

You must be on Obama's talking points feed. You are using all the Obama-speak buzzwords. I would be glad if people like Sebelius didn't get appointed & remained in the private sector where they belong. Abortionistas don't belong in government.

We get another hypocritical statement, "Abortionistas don't belong in government", from the from the author of 1535. Apparently "Abortion is None of the Government's Business" means that to support it should bar you from serving in government. You know i can respect a person who believes that abortion should never be allowed to happen and whos public policy works to that end. But i can't reconcile holding those two views together. Try it with something else: sexual preference is none of the governments business, but gays should not serve in government. A more sensible view is that if something is none of the government business, then the topic should never come up.

It is congruent, not hypocritical. Someone who was supported by abortion funds & presumably has great influence upon government money being spent on abortions should not be in government. She will increase government entanglement in abortion. Your sexual preferences argument is a red herring which is decaying as we speak & stinks!

I have never said anything about gays serving in government. To a certain extent it is odd for gays to serve in the military, but in the case that men & women are treated exactly the same & intermix - so be it. Now, gay marriage is something else which I may talk about later -particularly where such arguments should also permit polygamy.

Look DUDE, the future is all imagination, not just for me, but for everyone including you. Get over it. Past behavior is a clue to future behavior. One could predict that Osama Bin Laden would torch off a nuclear device, if he had one, right in the good old USA or in Israel. I don't need to worry about the nuances you could come up with about a sudden conversion to non-violent Islam by that terrorist!

Imagining the worst possible conduct of partisan adversaries does not improve the accuracy of predicting their actual behavior. Yet that is all you and the right wing fringe are doing. Why, well perhaps because you have no real torts to extrapolate from; consequently you must imagine them. Your Bin Laden example is certainly true, but it does not support your thesis about Sebelius. Your claim that she has a "abortionist" agenda is serious, but if it is true, then it needs to be supported by her actual past deeds. Sans those deeds being read into the record, your words are worthless rhetoric.

The "future" is a fantasy - anything can happen & often does. If anyone could actually predict the future he could win betting in 'Vegas. Why would a late-term abortionist doctor, George Tiller, give over $40,000 to Sebelius in campaign contributions if she wasn't pro choice?
