I voted

At left is the token receipt here.  It took 20 minutes of which ~10 minutes were travel. I voted ~10:30AM with about 6 people ahead of me in a grammer school in my zip code. They said last night that over 1M people voted early. So did Tina. Apparently they reverted back to paper ballots. The last time I voted on the machines which was much easier, IMHO. It was a great time to avoid the crowds.

I voted too.  I am proud to announce that all three votes from my household were cast for Barack Obama .   Here are the absentee receipts and the bottle of Champagne which we are going to open around 8PM tonight when the election is called for the next great president of the United States.  It is the first time both my wife and my son have ever voted.  This is a momentous election and one who's consequences will echo in America for decades. 

Sure you have the right to a secret ballot, but there is no reason to hide a vote that one is proud of.   I noticed that both you and Sarah Palin seem to think that not announcing your vote publically somehow supports your right to a secret ballot.  Personally I don't get the connection.

I don't care how you voted. I don't expect it to be much different than your gushing, Obama-juicing words to date. We had ~ 19 Amendments & propositions to vote on as well some of which were veiled attempts to raise taxes. We had lots of judges & representatives & senator.  I think a secret ballot is the best way to guarantee freedom. It is interesting that we had Amendment 47 on our ballot that was an attempt to do away with secret ballots for Labor Unions.

Postscript:  Corruption in the lowest of places - I voted on these measeures 53, 55, 56 & 57 which were on the ballot and to my great surprise they are not being counted. Why? Because ...  But 47 was " Prohibition on Mandatory Labor Union Membership Dues." which failed.
