Allow links to go to the local disk. I know there are some security issues & of course this might take place in very very private rooms. But it's another way to make the local disk folksodomized. Notice all the search engines are becoming search experts on your local machine.

as links, outside of wiki references, go through the javascript routine, if they allow it, then you can do it. did you try it?

I copied the uri from my browser when I went to a picture of a jpg which is: file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Mark/Desktop/Quick%20Pictures/ass4.jpg and it didn't work.

when I put quotes around the uri it gives me a link which goes to fastblogit.com

Yep blogs are slowly leveling the playing field ... continueing the process that started with the birth of the Internet

I think that even companies like M$ have embrased bloggers and are adapting to this new media. There has been a lot of chatter in the blogoshpere about what happens when a company comes down hard on a employee blogger - it usually backfires against the company. These guys are not stupid, they will learn ... or not ... then they will die.

i dont's see why not, you are allowed to edit and cut out portions of the "subtext" ... or was that what you meant?
