About: fed to pump another $1 trillion into u.s. economy - international herald tribune

According to this article the Fed Reserve is going to pump a Trillion$$$ into the economy by buying US Treasury Bonds- a very strange shell game that sounds to me like paying off your credit cards with more credit cards.
Putin & the UN want further to diminish the value of the dollar by creating some kind of strange bundled World currency; thus further encouraging the world to devalue dollar$$.   See (linking bringing errors last few days)
http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE52H2CY20090318 ; elsewhere Putin denies it.
During currency bad times real stuff like gold & oil increase relative to bad currencies; somewhat answering the last question in the comments on 8298. Funny money stuff like the stock market seems to be reacting to uncertainty in the currency stability.  A snapshot from Barrons Market Data follows:

You can track the value of the dollar here.  It was going up but then after March 9th the value of the dollar started to go down.  Yesterday, perhaps after the Feds announcement, it went way down.  Perhaps we can use this item dollar to track the dollar.

A better place to track the value of the dollar is to wach US Dollar/USDX - Index - Cash (I:DXY0.NYB) at yahoo.  The one above does not seem to update.  You can click on max on that chart and see the dollar rise dramatically after about 1995 and then in recent years become very volatile.

Things like this eventually catch up with the US$

source: ... A new report on the government's regulatory actions was released just before Thanksgiving, and it contains more than 3,300 rules -- which the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) estimates will cost more than $1.8 trillion to implement on an annual basis.
...&...
source: ... In the next month China and Japan (China's main trading partner) will no longer use the U.S. dollar as the only currency in trade with each other. They will use the Yuan and the Yen directly with each other. This will see the dollar removed from a large chunk of the world's trade -in itself, not a very large percentage, but a significant one. It's the start of a trend that is set to grow. We've no doubt that China is tailoring its trade with all its trading partners to use the dollar only so far as it is required to deal with the U.S. and other dollar-dependent nations. Oil from Russia utilizes the Yuan and Rouble, and Australia has arranged a similar deal.
...
The global economy knows that nonproductive government has devalued the U$. The global economy must become independent from governments al la threefoldness. Meanwhile bitcoin seems to trade at 6X what it was last Obtober.
