Obama feels Pissed on?

About: What To Do When Washington Gets All Wee-Weed Up?

The Hill: ... There's something about August going into September where everyone in Washington gets all 'wee-weed' up," the president said.
...
MKH: ... I, for one, believe he was probably telling us yet another story about profiteering doctors. This time, urologists, who are infamous for taking excessive urine samples from patients for extra cash. That's a practice that I think we can all agree is pretty "wee-weed up."
...Maybe he was talking about Barney Frank who often has his mind in a urinal when it's not up his ass!

~ The we-we statement as covered by Drudge & Breitbart.
Source: ... US President Barack Obama launched a mocking counter-attack Thursday at pundits who believe the euphoric early promise of his presidency is evaporating amid bitter political warfare.
Obama, who has watched his poll ratings dip sharply over recent months, drew comparisons to his 2008 presidential campaign, which was several times all but written off by media experts who set prevailing political wisdom.

"We have been through this before, in Iowa," Obama said, referring to the first state to hold a 2008 Democratic nominating contest, which saw him capture a come-from-behind win.
"All Washington said 'Oh, it's over,' hand-wringing angst ..."
Then Obama drew parallels to the media frenzy that greeted the nomination of firebrand Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin in 2008.
BHO, losing in the polls, is trying to get the campaigning spirit on his side again; being better at campaigning than at being a president.

Peggy Noonan: ...

Here's another thing that didn't work. (I write as if health-care reform or insurance reform or whatever it's called this week is already a loss, a historic botch, because it is. Even if the White House wins, they lose, because the cost in terms of public trust and faith was too high.)

Every big idea that works is marked by simplicity, by clarity. You can understand it when you hear it, and you can explain it to people. Social Security: Retired workers receive a public pension to help them through old age. Medicare: People over 65 can receive taxpayer-funded health care. Welfare: If you have no money and cannot support yourself, we will help as you get back on your feet.

These things are clear. I understand them. You understand them. The president's health-care plan is not clear, and I mean that not only in the sense of "he hasn't told us his plan." I mean it in terms of the voodoo phrases, this gobbledygook, this secret language of government that no one understands—"single payer," "public option," "insurance marketplace exchange." No one understands what this stuff means, nobody normal.

And when normal people don't know what the words mean, they don't say to themselves, "I may not understand, but my trusty government surely does, and will treat me and mine with respect." They think, "I can't get what these people are talking about. They must be trying to get one past me. So I'll vote no."

...Peggy takes the perspective of Wisdom having watched & been part of various presidencies.  BHO would do good to heed her advice. So sad he prolly won't. He will still try to ram it home as a personal victory in spite of it being a detriment to the country.

MKH seems quite versed in wee wees!

That said here is a  legitimate question to ask:  Why is the media pumping the opposition when 77% still support the choice of a public option?  It seems to me that the story is that we want the public option - not that Obama's numbers fell off.
Well, I didn't find that in your statistics. Very few details are available at this moment on what that all means & how it is to be paid for. The more the public knows the less it will be in favor. Right now all the polls mean is how well the various media get across their own points of view.  It seems to me that if 77% favor it then there shouldn't be any difficulty passing it.  OTOH, the support of a public option & actually having to be on the public option as the only choice are two different things. Congress should show their support for it by being on the public option & not the private ones.  Most people would be in favor of other people paying their expenses. The public option sounds like that to most.  That is why medical expenses are growing. With insurance other people pay part of your bills.

Just clearing up some facts:
  1. I didn't find that in your statistics: Question #2: 58+19=77
  2. how it is to be paid for: The public option is insurance - it is paid for by premiums.  That is a requirement of the Obama plan.  It will take an investment to get it going.  The Obama plan suggested equalizing deductions between tax brackets would do most of  the job.
  3. having to be on the public option: Nobody has ever said that anyone "would have to be on the public option".  It has always been, err an option.
That said i agree with your sentence: Right now all the polls mean is how well the various media get across their own points of view.

About one thing she is right ... social security and medicare are now "marked by simplicity and clarity" and most people say to politicians "leave your stinking fingers off my social security and medicare".  Well i don't know how old Peggy is but apparently she doesn't remember the fights it took to get those popular programs.  And her point is not well taken, it is very easy to explain health care reform to people:  now you can get affordable health care.  The best thing Peggy could do to make that work is to get the conservatives out of the kitchen and stop making so many special interest amendments ... but then that won't happen ... she doesn't give a shit about affordable health care.
Another head up the ass statement from an Obami. Drink your juice anything he says in his daily talking points will make sense to you.

You prolly got it from this poster ... came out shortly before you started using it.
Nope! That's Obambi.  I can't exactly put my fingers on the column, but I believe I got the term Obami from one of Michelle Malkin's columns. I use it instead of many words like Obama-juice drinkers and many other strings of words to describe the mind numbed robots hypnotized by BHO.  I like the shortness of the word and it's Star Treck like alien sound.

Yep, we all know what "Obami" is a code word for.  Now who was just criticizing me for calling names?
Obami is not a code word for anything (I explained how I use it), but you may enjoy thinking that in error being an Obami yourself. Thats what you do best - thinking in error.
