Here is another cause for this group - identifying, exposing, explaining & countering propaganda. This might be negative or positive, partisan or otherwise propaganda. It may or not be more difficult to identify propaganda than it is to identify what's so or the truth.

Actually i don't believe that is true. Obviously it is not a binary boundary, but me thinks any reasonable analysis would put him more centrist than most people on the far-left would prefer.

Yep, there is a little teeny-weeny bit of daylight to the left of Obama's left but not enough to worry about.

Fine tell that to the next president who "needs" to sell a war to the American people. Fact is this has always been a function of leaders. Apparently it becomes your cause de Jour in the abstract when the other side is in power.
Ginning up partisanship allows you to see partisanship wherever you look. Obama does not govern from the center, but the far-left. That's why he's having a hard time pulling the wool over the eyes of even members in his own party. Unlike you I don't see good & bad propaganda. I see propaganda - Agitprop.
