Once you verify your account by confirming a text message to your cell phone, you can get a shorter URL for your profile.  I got http://www.facebook.com/russell.seth ... apparently there already is a seth.russell on facebook and he's not me.

is there one that works somewhere?

Yes, at the bottom of WICS.cc ...  although i ended up using a different graphic.  All it is is a hyperlink ... no script necessary ... no special HTML necessary.  Point to a page, if a person likes the page, then they can click on that page accordingly.
You might consider testing that ... they need all the likes they can get.
