Yes.  It comes in all shapes & sizes.  When I went through China Town in S.F. I found a lot of them.  Likewise in Hong Kong.  It's hard for me to translate the 4 characters. I'm still working on it occasionally. My Japanese girl friend used to laugh when I asked her what it meant.

Mark de LA says
I have a Chinese friend that can translate the characters for me later this week. Will let you know if he starts laughing too!

See if he/she can identify the characters using the Yellow Bridge (woman) or perhaps my favorite etymology web site. I have trouble with the first 2 characters on the left.

The yellow bridge on the English word good.

Was this in conjunction with your friend? It's the leftmost 2 characters on the ring that are a mystery to me.
Thanks!
