What a Surprise!

About: Bombshell from Bristol: Is the airborne fraction of anthropogenic CO2 emissions increasing? – study says NO!

~ It is amazing what will come out when the GlobalWarmists don't have a monoply on the science that gets published!  It's about time the people started treating the Earth as a living being (Gaia) instead of a political football.
Source: ...New data show that the balance between the airborne and the absorbed fraction of carbon dioxide has stayed approximately constant since 1850, despite emissions of carbon dioxide having risen from about 2 billion tons a year in 1850 to 35 billion tons a year now
This widget tracks the data & as a bonus the Sun's activity just in case you are worried about Chicken Little's latest rants or the upcoming energy boondoggle bill in Congress.
Source: ... This experimental widget uses the UAH lower troposphere temperature data as well as the Mauna Loa CO2 data combined with NOAA SWPC solar information.

Apparently emails from within NASA top scientist says that NASA's data is inferior to the now Climategate discredited East Anglia IPCC data - proving (IMHO) that the whole boondoggle has unraveled & nobody knows what's happening.
Global Warming? maybe, maybe NOT! - Get over it!
Another reference to the same bombshell is here.  I wonder how long it will take for this story to get to the M$M. Maybe here in the Washington Times.

Latif thinks the cold snap Americans have been suffering through is only the beginning. He says we're in for 30 years of cooler temperatures -- a mini ice age, he calls it, basing his theory on an analysis of natural cycles in water temperatures in the world's oceans.

Latif, a professor at the Leibniz Institute at Germany's Kiel University and an author of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, believes the lengthy cold weather is merely a pause -- a 30-years-long blip -- in the larger cycle of global warming, which postulates that temperatures will rise rapidly over the coming years.

...he says other things which makes me disbelieve the whole report.  Nobody has yet explained why/ how this cold wave happens in a greenhouse global warming environment model.
A Mini-Ice Age is coming, eh?

Mark de LA says
What a surprise! Speculation printed as fact in the New Scientist magazine is picked up & included in the IPCC instead of real science! Himalayan Glaciers can't melt as fast as predicted to have them all gone by 2035.

Cogley said: "The reality, that the glaciers are wasting away, is bad enough. But they are not wasting away at the rate suggested by this speculative remark and the IPCC report. The problem is that nobody who studied this material bothered chasing the trail back to the original point when the claim first arose. It is ultimately a trail that leads back to a magazine article and that is not the sort of thing you want to end up in an IPCC report.”

The real point of the IPCC is to help enable One World government & lessen the soverignty of nations robbing rich nations in a monumental conn-job.

"If it is true that IPCC has indeed faked numbers regarding the Amazon, or used unsubstantiated facts, then it is the third nail in the IPCC coffin in less than three months," Andrew Wheeler, former staff director for the U.S. Senate's Environment and Public Works Committee, told FoxNews.com. "For years, we have been told that the IPCC peer review process is the gold standard in scientific review. It now appears it is more of a fool's gold process."

... apparently the figures on the rain forest were drawn from studies by activists unrelated to the global warming (logging & other studies) .

This article explains some of the reasons global warming is dead last!
Anyone want to bet that the Obama administration ignores the public anyway & tries to ram a huge carbon tax bill down our throats anyway?  If so then we should ram them straight into the unemployment line.

Speaking at the 2008 global climate talks in Poznan, Poland, Pachauri said: “In some countries of Africa, yields from rain-fed agriculture could be reduced by 50% by 2020.” In a speech last July, Ban said: “Yields from rain-fed agriculture could fall by half in some African countries over the next 10 years.”

Speaking this weekend, Field said: “I was not an author on the Synthesis Report but on reading it I cannot find support for the statement about African crop yield declines.”

Watson said such claims should be based on hard evidence. “Any such projection should be based on peer-reviewed literature from computer modelling of how agricultural yields would respond to climate change. I can see no such data supporting the IPCC report,” he said.

Algore hangs on to his boondoggle. It's OK to develop modernization of our energy infrastructure & develop renewable resources.  It is NOT OK TO PANIC everybody & grab on to the economy & strangle it in the name of questionable science. Remember Algore is NOT A SCIENTIST!  He did not invent the Internet.

As an addendum Foxnews lists other discrepancies & failures to address climategate items in his recent editorial & concludes with:
Foxnews: ... Politicians, such as Gore, apparently don't appreciate the role that transparency plays in science. But scientists trust others' results much more when they are actually able to examine the data themselves. Gore dismisses these concerns as mere trivialities, but if they are so easy to deal with, why not make sure that the data are provided? Memo to the former Vice President: In this day of computer files and the Internet, sharing data is actually pretty simple.
... this is point by point what Algore ignored.

Of course my comment wasn't about your rant ... rather it was about delving into the meaning of the phrase "instrument of human redemption" and why that is about religion and why, whatever that means, it is necessarily wrong.

Of course the phrase is meaningless just like the rest of Algore's BS.
