BBQ Shrimp over Spanish Rice

The shrimp were marinated in Mirin and Soy sauce for about half hour and then grilled on the Foreman for about 1 minute.  They were then immersed in KC Masterpiece and returned to the grill for about 30 seconds. I'm not saying that is the best way to prepare bbq shrimp, but for my taste it worked well. 

The Spanish Rice was cooked according to the same recipe i used here.  Only this time i used fresh tomatos instead of canned and i didn't embellish it with tomato paste.  Too bad, Denise didn't like it ... she said it didn't have enough tomato taste to it.  Oh well.  Next time i'll go back to canned tomatoes, peeling tomatoes is no fun at all.  Oh, and i'll add a whole can of tomato paste.  We'll just have to see if she likes it then.

i think that marinating the #shrimp made it mealy … try not marinating it and see if it jucy instead.
