A Crisis is a Wonderful Thing to Exploit !

About: house session - c-span video library

Before I watched the video it occurred to me that the current TSA groping/full body scanning implementation was just a preliminary step of the government's plan to condition the people into more & more intrusion into every part of their lives.  Now I am convinced! How far behind can the communist coup be?
Personally, I believe that there are two "out of the box" solutions - one not in the public domain yet.

The fascism begins$11,000 fine, arrest possible for some who refuse airport scans and pat downs - most notable is that you will also be interrogated, & can't leave the airport until "authorities" are satisfied.

WikiQuotes: ... They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
  • This was written by Franklin, with quotation marks but almost certainly his original thought, sometime shortly before February 17, 1775 as part of his notes for a proposition at the Pennsylvania Assembly, as published in Memoirs of the life and writings of Benjamin Franklin (1818). A variant of this was published as:
    • Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
      • This was used as a motto on the title page of An Historical Review of the Constitution and Government of Pennsylvania. (1759); the book was published by Franklin; its author was Richard Jackson, but Franklin did claim responsibility for some small excerpts that were used in it.
... & there would be no United States of America were it not for those who desired liberty above all else!

Body Scanner Operator Caught Masturbating at Colorado Airport
In this post 9/11 world we must suffer the slings and arrows or outrageously tempting fantasies ... all in the name of security.

It is interesting to note that zero terrorists have been caught by all the screening so far. All it does is provide the terrorists with some other way to mutate their terror modus operandi while we make ourselves into a police state (like Iran).

i wonder if that is totally true ... if it is it certainly is interesting.  We have thwarted terrorists plots but were they thwarted by the other measures that are being taken.  Then too if those measure are not in place and effective, would not we be getting more attackes.  Do we prove the effectiveness of a wall by the number of people we catch trying to walk through it?

Then too there is the deterrant effect for Muslims. I can't imagine a muslim who believes that Allah is going to reward him/her for blowing him/herself up to kill infidels & also believes in the other sharia on sex & touching & head-dress submitting to full-on body searches. Of course that doesn't deter those non-muslims who are doing it because someone has kidnapped their loved ones.

IMHO, we are paying too much for an incompetent government at most levels. Let us privatise it all. Make figure heads of the ones the U.S. Constitution says we must have. Hire competant people to do the rest.  So far it looks like this: (notice how much it is for each taxpayer)

Reacting to growing public discomfort over the Transportation Safety Administration’s use of full-body scanners and more invasive pat-downs, opponents have organized online to encourage air travelers to delay the screening process at airports around the country. The protests, which include opting out of the new scanners and submitting to a pat-down, are meant to overload the system by forcing the limited number of T.S.A. agents to spend time " up to ten minutes in some cases " searching each passenger by hand.
The psychology of this opting out protest was not well designed ... me thinks it is doomed to failure from the get-go.  I mean take a look at the personal choice involved: i would delay myself, possibly missing my flight, embarrassing and singling myself out from the crowd ... and what would be the reward were i successful ... massive delays (for myself) and increased danger from actual terrorists.  Give me a fucking break ... nobody is going to be doing this ... people just are not that stupid.
Yep, there are all kinds of conspiracy theories here.   If the flying public just refused to fly & the airlines went under then the government could take over the airlines just like the auto industry.  We need to perfect & extend the techniques of Lie To Me TV program & the Israeli profiling techniques.  Right now, with the crowds, the terrorists don't need to actually board a plane to do a lot of damage.  Some are saying that Obama is just getting even with the public for the election results he suffered.  Sooner or later there will be a foolproof biometric signature which will not be intrusive.
Problem is you're not gonna be able to train 50 zillion TSA agents to practically identify micro expressions which are practically indicative of a threat.  That is a high skill.  Then too if you can come up with some automated scan of that sort, you have just raised the bar and the terrorists will start training to avoid it.  I don't think there is an easy solution to an effective wall against terrorists at the airport.  If it were me placing the emphasis i would look more to a cultural solution ... change the mind set of those who would attack like that.
IMHO, its all a security kabuki dance for public consumption & distraction. What else is going on at this time - Korean War II, SALT, Russia & China rebuking the Dollar, etc. Any real terrorist could walk across the Mexican border & build a car bomb.
OTOH, the only thing that would convince an insane terrorist not to act that way is to die. Whether catching one or a few of them in the planning stage then boiling them in vats of pig fat while 72 harlots piss in the vat would be enough is any one's guess;- (right after reading them their Miranda rights of course).

It takes all the countries of the World to ostracize the few who are insane & all the governments that support them; do business with them; or transport their people to other lands.
Mastering 14621 & some of answers to the questions being contemplated there now is my real solution.

Yesterday we received a letter from a customer who wore her GladRags Pantyliner through a security scanner and was so traumatized by her resulting TSA genital search that she wanted to warn other women. (Read her letter below). Her past history of sexual assault made this experience a nightmare for her. At first we thought yes, we will warn people not to put themselves through this risk.
So if GladRages truly obscure the scan, what is the solution?

I recomment taking them off first & putting them through the luggage scanner.  Then the TSA agents can get a look & feel & get their hands all bloody! (not to belittle the woman's pain),
funny, but not a serious solution.
There is not a serious problem here.  Wear something else, possibly cunt plugs!

UN mulls internet regulation options - under this same item title comes world regulation of the Internet, eh?  Where the freeform exchange of ideas gets regulated by governments totalitarianism flourishes; wikileaks notwithstanding. Don't assange yourself just because of criminals.
