iPod shutter Screen


If the iPod shutter screen was light instead of dark, then there would be plenty of light cast tward the self-subject to take a decent picture. 

How about that Apple?

Well in this case my pod is my cell-phone ... well one i can use only at WiFi hot spots.  And yes there is plenty of light coming from lots of the pages and apps to illuminate back towards yourself.  The problem i found is that they make the shutter page itself almost totally dark ... so not enough light is cast to take a decent picture in the dark.  I guess i could turn on the light, but then that would be cheating, huh ...

The ipod camera really does need a light source.  The small bar at the bottom is just not enough light for a picture in the dark. To get this one i had to go to settings, set the screen to max brightness, and then even that was not enough ... then i had to lighten the image with Picassa when i put it in my album.  It seems to me that it would be very easy to have a light souce gadget that could be positioned on the screen that would look like a real light and cast light twards the subject in the dark. 

Then too, why can't i upload pictures direct from my pod?  Maybe i just haven't learned how, or maybe i dont have the right apps for it yet ... but why should i need anything special ... why not just allow me to go whever there is an upload button and do it as if i were on a desktop?
