Christopher Hitchens has a nice perspective on revolutions in Vanity Fair:

The question of what's next might dovetail into another item where we learn to blend the golden rule of individual ethics with the politics of a revolution & define first principles for a new society transforming corruption, RWG & dictatorships & the like by threefolding into a synergy of individuals rather than a ship of fools.
