Profiles

It is time for the cloud companies to start respecting who their customers are.  I should be in complete control of my own profile, whether it is at MS, Google, Google+, Buzz, Yahoo, Facebook, twitter or even fastblogit.com.

What needs to happen me thinks, is that some standards body specify a predicate, call it something like "preferredProfile", and then all cloud companies should agree to respect that.
