These would obviously need to be collapsed into a matrix. & reduce the duplication, eh ?

Seth says
Not sure what u mean by matrix. I think that we can run a fix where any tag that starts with a ^ (but is not followed by w) we issue a new tag $bug. That will give me the tag room i want.

You will get duplicates that way. A matrix would be a list by item # and short description & probably severity, priority, status (fixed, in progress, scheduled, re-tested, complete, not-a-bug) etc. I have not triaged the bugs for you in a long time. There are lots of fixed bugs not deleted & some that have several items associated with one bug. Again, we are using tags for something that data processing is more suitable.

Seth says
Well i need the one singel tag room for bugs. If that is going to make more tags floating around then so be it. I do think that it should be outside of this ^ sequence. So now i like $bug. Alternative i can generate all the $bug tags and then delete all the other ^ tags.

Enjoy! I have made my rational arguments. You also have to keep the convention as well.

Seth says
Then you have a central point from which to edit and do trage and or to create whatever matrix that will be helpful. For example having the bug well described and not buried would be a big help. Let us face it, right now it is a mess. mess.

Mark de LA says
I will confine my activity to finding bugs & working on group UnhackTheBrain stuff. You will do the triage & sorting of what has already happened!

Wonder why we switched from labeling something as a bug in the first place ?

I think it was your idea.

Mark de LA says
I did inject organizing the bugs into categories, but ... anyway I am kewl with anything that has a fairly defined process & works.
