You might want to reframe the problem back to the article. Obama stimulus blew 1/2 billion dollars on solar tech that made no mone & went bankrupt. Don't loan money belonging to the taxpayers to businesses which depend upon subsidies whatever they are.

Subsidizing solar would be better than subsiding oil which does not need it. That does appear to me to be a fact that is pretty much undeniable. The government loans money all the time to many outfits ... probably most of it goes to bankers and ends up in their christmas bonuses ... too bad this one did not pan out ... but i reject the rush limbaugh twist on this unfortunate investment ... at least it went to a real company trying to make a real alternative energy product.
