IMHO until one grasps the distinctions in the three class distinctions mentioned in this section of the chapter entitled The Purpose in Alinsky's Rules for Radicals I suspect one won't morph into a Joan of Arc for any kind of revolution any time soon. I won't quote it all out of respect for his estate's copyrights.  Ideas are a dime a dozen on the Internet. Words are not powerful enough at this stage of evolution to produce a tangible reality ON THEIR OWN!
But it is written "In the beginning was the word".

Nope, DUDE! just showing you that you fans of Saul Alinsky are just repeating the behavior outlined for you in 1971 in the referenced book.   Understand it, live it!  Actually it is quite fascinating as a read no matter whether you are Pro or Conobama.

Read the user review: http://books.google.com/books/about/Rules_for_radicals.html?id=yHDBnUGF83cC .   Alinsky has a studied, uncanny sense for politics.  Rush Limbaugh does as well but dedicates his result in a different direction.  Actually, Alinsky dedicates the book to Lucifer who is supposed to be a rebellious angel - named as "the bearer of light".
