The Ultimate Match

The thing that made Ebay so successful was the notion of an auction.  Now, I'm NOT saying that the ultimate match needs one, but we do need to think about the process that goes on between a buyer and a seller.
Whatever we can do to enable both parties to be happy & satisfied will keep them coming back.  To leave it all up to the individuals to contact eachother may be missing some of the point.  Newsgroups & bulletin boards can provide that service. Also is it within the context of the ultimate match to handle credit cards and shopping cart services or not ?

The Discussion is open NOW!

  1. ultimate match
  2. project cart

Seth says
A shopping cart is definitely something that we want to do here. It might be as simple as somebody writing [buy $20.95] on an item, which the system would change into a buy button. Doing that on an intentional item might be all that is necessary for the ultimate match.
