The Morning Granola

I think that Anti-Christians would like to get a gag-order on Jesus just so that they would not have to be responsible to their own minds for the consequences of their own behavior & actions or to anyone else.

It is hard for me to figure your point here.   Jesus died for our sins ...  the idea of forgiveness is already branded in the creed ... do something, then if you confess, you are forgiven ... no punishment necessary, just buy some candles from the priest.   The Christian church, to my knowledge, does not speak directly of responsibility to consequences.

You, @S'th, seem to still have your Catholic fixation.
source: ...

Matthew 27:3-5

New International Version (NIV)

3 When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”

“What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”

5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

... I wasn't getting into Christian dogma so much as pointing out that the "if it feels good doit it" crowd, mostly liberals & church bashers, are that way mostly because they don't want to face the results of their behavior & would really rather never be held accountable.  OTOH, my sense for karma is that the only thing we face is ourselves but as our violations of the Golden Rule. Antichristians would say "those are your rules not mine" when held accountable for an abortion or some other thingy they wouldn't want done to themselves (as a foetus of course).

Does this have to do with articles like this:  Priest Walks Out Of Woman's Funeral Because Of Her Gay Daughter ?

... just asking.

Wait a minute ... wait a minuet ... i think i just got it.  The church can impose consequences ... it can deny communion ... it can excommunicate.  So allegidely an anti-christian would want to take away the ability of the church to do that.  Is that it? ....

.... problem with that is a so called anti-christian wouldn't give a shit about communion or ex-communication.

... oh well, maybe it has something to do with Obama.
Sorry, I can't get what you are saying out of what I wrote. If you got your head out of catholic-bashing mode, maybe plucking out of your ass, you might write something more cogent.
