.... DERP ON!!! - I'm wondering if she is still pround of her cunt tree & the way it turned out. Is the United States of America better off than 4 years ago? Are you folks better off than you were 1179 days ago? The funny meme about Romney's wife got spread anyway & then someone had to fall on her sword because it didn't work.  That's the way Big Government is shaping up in leftward politics these days. Nobody is really responsible but the petty tyrants & it's always somebody else's fault.

... & just one more thing (maybe) ... I have always wondered about the women's movement & how things shifted when more & more women began leaving their homes to join the work force; leaving behind the care of their children to someone else. The net result was that prices began to rise with more income available & then it took two incomes to meet the demands - no looking back. Yesterday, one of Obama's minions decried having to work rather than staying home to raise her children.  That my friends may have been an unintended consequence of the women's movement.
It's all good & part of evolution. I don't decry the woman's movement. I love it because it makes the workplace more enjoyable. I'm just saying look forward & be careful what you wish for! ... You might just get it!

Basically this is all about trying to get more women to vote for Obama. First the Main Slut Media news front which sired the "War on Women" which didn't work well even though it dove tailed into some Obamacare. (no abortion in Obamacare?)

Well  "Basically this is all about trying to get more women to vote for Obama" is a true sentence, as is "basically this is all about trying to get Romney elected".  So in this edition of Bitter Nation, we have two fighting memes: "Ann Romney is out of touch with struggling American women", and "Ann Romney is a stay at home mom, and not to be disparaged for it".  Both memes are pretty much true, the first made up by Democrats and the latter made up by Republicans.  They really don't have much to do with each other, but the one has been spread as the antidote for the other.
The true sentence perspective from Bozo (who made him the judge?). Others may differ like:

Later in the day on CNN Ann Romney said that “it’s hard work micromanaging a full staff in multiple homes. There were several nannies to oversee, as well as a number of maids, butlers, chauffeurs, gardeners, tutors and private coaches. My struggles were not easy, but neither are the struggles of other stay-at-home moms all across the nation. We need to stick together and not have other women put us down for the choices we make. Not all of us are cut out to work and tend to our children, and some of us prioritize family over a fantasy that we could one day be as successful as a man. I stand by my decision to be a stay-at-home mom.”
... too bad they couldn't write true sentences and make it stick.
Ever quick with the new way of saying the old "Liar, Liar - pants on Fire" - hair-trigger, Dude!

that doesn't make sense ... your not reading the text.  i suggest following the bouncing ball.
Too bad they couldn't write true sentences is calling someone a liar; your not too subtle way of pulling the hair trigger notwithstanding.

well, yeah, i'm writing it ... or may write it.

In any case, given the current state of American politics, I can be more consistent to myself by relating to a meta-fiction, than in staying within the plane of the fight itself.  You, however, seem to have chosen to engage in the actual fight ... as if it were real to you.  Well have fun with that.
I'm saying you are bitter.  I am not. What's real is another amusement for discussion somewhere else.  The current emperor has no clothes.  Both of us are sorry that hope & change fell flat & did not work. It is the RWG which keeps us stuck still holding on to being right about our choice last election. I've tried many times to get engagement in different solutions like threefoldness & conscious economy etc. over the years & nothing is the result & in many cases not a peep! The RWG seems to be the only thing that gets the juices flowing.

Who am i calling a liar?  ... coz i don't get your point.  Can i presume that you read the banner at the top of the text i quoted that reads "News that's almost reliable" and that i characterized as "satire" ?
Originally you wrote "too bad they couldn't write true sentences" which got bounced in the nesting. That's calling someone, whomever they is, a liar; your artful "true sentences" dodge notwithstanding.

Ok ... so now can i presume that you understand my message ...

Well it IS interesting how quickly a talking point is abandoned or a gotcha swept under the table when it doesn't work. The old "that's in the past I am focusing on the future & my program to ......" dodge when embarassment shows up.

IMHO, the tao is the ultimate constant picture symbol of the Universe. Everything works out as unity. OTOH, not every issue or controversy has both sides equal at fault or some other combo of the RWG.  The meme that all arguments are like a coin with both sides being equal is faulty. Take abortion for example: There are 3 (or more) sides to that coin ... think about it!

This calls for another DERP:

Well both the Democrats and the Republican usage of the term "war on women" are twists and lies.  No political party is going to be fighting their own constituency.  This last thing with Rosen shows how a thing can bounce off and smear the smearier.  If you want to do it right, you go back to the original problem which is policies that negatively impact the lives of women.
...
So they are going on to try on a '50s retro meme instead in spite of:
Politico: ...

President Barack Obama has noted the presumptive GOP nominee uses archaic turns of phrase such as “marvelous” and warned in an email to donors Thursday that his rival would usher in “a social agenda from the 1950s.”

The president’s chief strategist, David Axelrod, has gone further, quipping that the former Massachusetts governor “must watch ‘Mad Men’ and think it’s the evening news” while jabbing that Romney’s views are out of a time when “bosses could dictate on women’s health.”

To be fair, Romney’s governmental record, as well as his campaign, generally reflect gender inclusion. His gubernatorial chief of staff and campaign senior adviser, Beth Myers, is female, as are his deputy campaign manager and communications director. In 2003, Romney’s first year as governor, Massachusetts ranked number one among all states for the highest ratio of women policy leaders appointed by governors, according to a 2004 study by the Center for Women in Government and Civil Society. The suggestion that Romney’s world is cloistered from women is not a fair one.
...
Mostly R4R#5 (ridicule) since the derp-derp-in-chief can't run on his record of jobs, the deficit & taxation, or Obamacare.

~ For Democrat Party Spin Artistas & those infected with Obamalagnia please note: I would like to keep this item focused on how the phrase "Ann Romney never worked a day in her life" shows an attitude on the part of the speaker of that phrase, a Democrat Hack, & by extension some others in that honey pot which disses women.

DERP Maher elaborated today on the comment by Rosen:
"'Ann Romney Has Never Gotten Her A-- Out of the House to Work" ... apparently fixated upon a specific piece of her anatomy.

“In my own life, in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much,” she said. “See, that’s why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service,”
— Michelle Obama.

We were wrong.

Michelle Obama, as we reported on July 7, is not served by twenty-two attendants who stand by to cater to her every whim.

She is served by twenty-six attendants, including a hair dresser and make-up artist.

The annual cost to taxpayers for such unprecedented attention is approximately $1,750,000 without taking into account the expense of the lavish benefit packages afforded to every attendant. See http://bit.ly/Wk7Ks
This was in 2009 - I wonder how many more she added for 2012.

"Ann Romney Has Never Gotten Her A-- Out of the House to Work"
I speculate that this the misinterpretation that Seth was calling out on Facebook.

... No need to speculate, it is what i was calling out on facebook.

Read Rosen's whole statement in context and what she said afterwards about it.  What is a "misinterpretation" is to twist Rosen's words to mean that "a stay at home moms are not working" ... which she never did say.  So go ahead and tell the big lie and repeat it ... doesn't make it any more true.

But hey, i'm going to stick my neck out even further.  I claim that Ann Romney probably raised her children with the help of several nannies ... not really all that much work as changing the diapers yourself ... waking up in the middle of the night ... eh?  Strange nobody else is saying that ... perhaps it is just my speculation.
Yep, green with envy jealousy of wealth will keep you fools poor! If you're Obama, though, you can get away with pretending you are rich off of the taxpayers with rich mult-million dollar vacations separate & together with Michelle & private schools for the girls; adding lavish parties at the White House & probably slews of nannies & bodyguards for the kids.  Apparently wives are not off limits yet- beware Michelle & maybe later the kids when the Obama droids goo off message on their own (wink wink!). Anyway here is my message:
Motherfuckers - STOP YOUR WAR ON MOTHERS!
Mothers work is hard work!
Babies are NOT punishment!
Abortions kill motherhood!

Just who is out of touch?
CBSNews: ... Just two days after President Barack Obama gave a sharply edged response to news anchor Larry Conners of KMOV in St. Louis after Conners had asked the president about Americans who “get frustrated and even angered when they see the first family jetting around [to] different vacations and so forth,” Obama told a panel at the Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia that part of his job there was to scout out locations for a future vacation with First Lady Michelle Obama.

youtube of Anns alleged nanny calling calling in to a radio program.

“We are feeling what not having hope feels like,” Obama told Winfrey in response to a question about whether President Obama had achieved the “hope and change” he promised while campaigning in 2008. As she often did while campaigning for Hillary Clinton, she didn’t mention President-elect Donald Trump by name. But she alluded to the contrast many in the country are feeling since he won the election last month. “We feel the difference now,” she said, noting that her husband had succeeded in keeping his campaign promise of fostering hope.

Strange I feel a lot more hope as do the financial markets. (***) DOW ~ 20K
