Somehow this seems to me to violate the ideas of open government AND threefolding.

Both sides do it is not enough to justify it.

Please note there is a big difference between "venture capital" and what a "private equity" company like Bain does. Obama has never demonized venture capital (period). Perhaps you ddn't notice the difference.

Again a distinction without a difference!
