Now some of those are kind of redundant and we may not want to store them all, but given the three arrows above and the contexts that have been identified, those are infact the quads that obtain.

Actually those "context ellipses" have a column reserved for them. It is the first column on the left. After posting im now thinking that the most practical context to record is the group. Taggings already have their own db and that db already records the arrows that i included in the daggram labeled with "tagged". So there really are only 2 quads that would need to be recorded from this item.

One thing that motivates this is where do we record the things that are generated for (and control) the group and author dashboards ? We prolly do not want to generate new items for them and extracting the info on the fly from the items themselves is gonna be a real hassel. So there may be a real practical value in these quads.

Anyway I think implementing this will give us a leg up in the Web 2.0 wars - very much in progress, particularly good CyberMind functions.

Well it is quite a design problem

figuring out how to input quads and how to show them in general and how to navigate them. They kind of fight with the item structure ... perhaps we need quad rooms [quads * XXSUBJECT XXVERB XXOBJECT] which would give you in some manner of display all of the quads in all contexts with those parameters.

In the end, in FastBlogIt, you will only be able to specify something which points at a paragraph or sentence or something in Natural Language. Another way to put it is that the cheese at the end of the maze is for the human. I don't see how quads can go inside that. I'm open to that it might be better than a keyword search or fancy search like google search for something. There is very little to get inside a comment at all. Comments may or not be within the context of the items they appear with. How do you describe a comment ? There are no tags for the comments. I guess discipline can keep them pertinent to the items upon which they are attached.

With a quad can one expect to bring up a room that is more interesting than a tag or a title can find ?
