i cannot reproduce any of that, even in IE9.  I suggest clearing your IE browser cache ... and/or reinstalling IE9.

Mark de LA says
can you go to the home page for mark on IE9?  How do you clear the cache?

Mark de LA says
I guess I cleared the cache & the problem is still there.

I have uninstalled IE9 & rebooted my machine. THat leaves IE8 behind.  On IE8 the same problem occurs. I can't even create a new group called bugs without it happening.

Mark de LA says
Fastblogit is the only website this happens on.

i really do suggest examining the cache.  i think ie8 and ie9 use the same cache.   after you clear the cache, you might find it on your computer and see if that directory is empty.
another thing you might want to try is to delete the ie cookey for mark ... and all of them for fastblogit.
How do I do that.  I went to IE8 and Internet browser options & deleted including cookies. Is there more somewhere the problem still exists.

it is interesting to note that the only data that is stored locally (on your computer) and is related to a group, is in the data stored in your cookie.  Usually that cookie is deleted completly when you log out of the group.  But if the data that stores cookies has been corrupted, that might actually not get deleted.  Is everything ok when you are signed on to a different group in IE ?  Can you find all of the cookies for fastblogit in your IE data?  Does clearing your cache and cookies wipe all of that information out?

Signon of a different group - still same problem can't follow links to groups in messages or the home button.  I can't find anything I can read in the IE data - it seems like a database on IE8.
I have to go to CHico - will return in a couple of hours to see if I can figure this out.

sorry, don't know and not on a computer to explor.   I did find this youtube.   i would also suggest finding where the cookies and cache are and making sure that their procedure actually cleaned up the corruption.

Yes i have access to a windows 7.
Couple of other things i was thinking: (1) sign out without sighining into another group ... that deletes one of the cookies that may be corrupted.  (2) find the comment  that is showing the problem in the news and delete it ... if it is a cache problem that may clean out the corruption.
(3) examine the actual source HTML document that is showing incorrectly ... save it ... does it show correctly in another browser?.

Seth says
did (1) signed out. (2) no comment is a problem it is all links in the news. (3) ... see (2)

like if I click on your name at the beginning oe the comment above or the any of the date-time groups I get bad html.

Mark de LA says
I reinstalled IE9 .. still there.
Any link from a comment to fbi gives a page that looks like half the html is missing.

Mark de LA says
Strange I just got my machine back from the Geek Squad which got rid of all viruses & updated Windows & the problem is still there on IE.
