outside of the bug i just reported in 1646, i don't see what is being asked or reported here.
It has some ideas about protecting our wiki which is a UseMod wiki. No sweat.
well, yes, we know there is a stuggle against the spam bots comming.  we almost need to be open and under attack to grok what the solutions will be.

Well, it does something else than the others, probably because of that bug where the parser for wiki references fucks up the upper to lower case.  Here is a good example as to why that should be fixed. Wiki references (ironic isn't it) won't work.

if this has been answered you might consider deleting the $wizzard. also i would prefer not using so many $ tags, winnie thinks they are wierd looking and so do i. also i would prefer being hailed by an intentional tag. maybe something more like question~wizzard. also eventually we will phase out all usage of ~ in tags that are not intentional tags, that way you can do a live search on ~ and come up with all of the intentional tags. so now we need to find another tag prefix character for the censors. should be something that sorts to the bottom of the index. any suggestions ?

Mark de LA says
Got rid of the $-, but there are still more $-tags:

$bug (23)
$finished (1)
$test (1)
$wish (33)
$workaround (1)
m$ (2)

Winnie is not a programmer & so does not appreciate the $ tag-prefix. The easiest way to prevent a $ prefix is to remove the possibility of them by the program that also screened out other undesirables.

Seth says
Well i am not sure what we should use the $ for yet. It, like "." , "*", and "-" sort to the top of the list. It does cry out as a system tag and i'm fine with that, winnie's complaints not withstanding. But she does have a point, if you look at the top of the unfiltered list, it looks pretty geeky. I would like to fix that.

Mark de LA says
How geeky is 2 $ and a dot ? Wait till the general public gets ahold of this. I am one who doesn't like the .groups one. I think it should just be a button on the panel tied to the word groups or maybe $groups just to fuck with winnie.
