its more just an attitude. the logic, science and art of Attribution is not a black and white affair.

my kitchen is quite evolved, complex, and goes through many changes ... it lives ... and it cooks food ... i respect and live within it. that is a way that i can think and feel ... that is the way dishes get washed .... ingredients get assembled and chopped ... onions go on the stove ... and dishes emerge into the dining room.

well that is the way we usefully talk ... by composing strings of these word thingies so that they reflect and convey our meanings to each other. i strangely do not understand your objection to it.

incidentally your initial "joke" response was just totally perfect. i liked it. it was, in fact, the other view of this same thing. when we work to automate something, even intelligence, we are always totally looking for that "look ma, no hands" feeling. would that i had with my own hands created that in my kitchen. but still and all there is a thing there ... an attitude, a feeling in the process. the only mismatch here is that i have no idea whether you ever got that gestalt.

I don't, really. Sounds similar to guns killing people without any help from a finger. If you organize your work-space better results happen than without it. I watch Master Chef & Hell's Kitchen & see quite nice looking dishes come out of very disorganized work spaces as counter point for what I just said. But, maybe it's about your Ego dissolving into your environment or the line you mentally draw around your ego enlarging - who knows?

Well i have a feeling you get it more than you care to admit. Yes, it is very definitely the same kind of thing that "guns kill people". What is interesting there is that for you to not see that one you have to add your own erronious distraction to its expression: "without any help from a finger". Of course there is "help from your finger". Try thinking these thoughts without adding their contradiction to the sentences. Yes, it is about the organization and choices *i* made to put in the kitchen ... and the habits i use when i cook. The gestalt is that *is* my kitchen. ... and finally, Yes, it *is* about my "ego" dissolving into my environment. I just love to give credit where credit is due ... and i really don't get it all. you, by all means, please *do* choose your own attitudes in that regard.

huh? people *must* make up (and/or choose) the context of a story and of their own behavior. as far as i know there *is* no alternative, see 16612. that *is* how we all perceive our world. i seriously doubt that *your* mileage can vary there in the least. people either choose their context *consciously* or it is chosen for them, because of their laziness, by default.

There is the stripped down version of your actions, feelings etc. & then there is the story you tell yourself to build your self & protect it. People lie to themselves about what is happening as it is going on, even. Maybe revisit #BofNK. The stripped down version of GZ incident is GZ killed TM with a gun during an altercation in Florida. The more you add, recontextualize, add shit, delete shit etc. the more you stray into unreality. The stripped down version of you & your kitchen is that most of the time you cook in your organized kitchen & experiment with new dishes. The rest is concept & imagination. Focus on the action! (that which a microscopic fly shaped drone might video observing you from a vantage point on the wall nearby)

Well i will take a more detailed version of what happend over a "stipped down" one any day ... the more detailed the better the story and the better the truth it has to actuality. For example, to leave out why GZ was there following TM is not to perceive the event accurately. And the more detailed the story, the more it motivates ... the more it captures the spirit of what is happening. What you are saying above doesn't make any sense to me at all. It seems to me to be just some kind of contrived train of thought allowing you to defend your political beliefs.
