It's kinda like the Golden Rule .... you go first!

... yes kinda of like, but not the same rule.

incidentally, the "you go first" part is in neither of the rules ... it would be the reciprocal confusion that you are keen on introducing into these Christian rules.  But, no, that "you go first" is specifically excluded in Christian ethics.  Remember: "turn the other cheek".   The "you go first" rule I dub  "Seth's dilemma".
Not mine, dude. Re-read Mathew. It is already solved there some 2000 years ago!

Matthew VII, 5 basically says work on yourself first before blaming others. It fits well with admonishing today's racists.

Not so. Mostly today's racosts are tje Sharptons & Jacksons & the Farakkkans hoisting racism on others. Maybe the confusion is on them.

well Mathew says not to concern yourself with "the speck that is in your brother’s eye" ... i think he was actually talking to *you* ... not your brother.

OMG ... such really exceptional confusion !
Both of us, dude. See the obamafishhook anti-meme in one of the other posts I made this AM ab out your confusion.  Maybe take some pills or something.
