Community Organizing vs Principles, Leadership & Representative government - IS the Clowns & Circuses problem. Restated - it is about the Art & science of bribing the electorate with their own money so that the ruling class can enjoy the privileges of power & regulate everyone else to keep the power to do so.

Power, politically speaking is money, masses of people, weapons & only occasionally the vote. The M$M is part of that power structure but does not necessarily do stuff which promotes representative government. When the M$M is corrupt, or abdicating it's role as a watchdog of government &/or an advocate for transparency, & it becomes just a partisan point of view (& worse just propaganda) - then it frustrates representative government.
Power over is not representative government it is tyranny. There are other things besides power for a people to govern with: principle, reason, vision, leadership & integrity & the like.
Community organizing is merely about power - assembling the masses & votes rather than finding the best solution for pressing problems. The means & ends are subjugated to winning & power-over the people.

Power is WILL, not THOUGHT or FEELING although those latter components are used sometimes to accumulate power.

Our economy should not become about power as it has become, but about the distribution, production & work required to sustain life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness. It seems as if we got off track somewhere. If we ignore freedom in this domain then we end up with power & tyranny. That does not mean that the tyranny of money, banks, corporations & the Federal Treasury should be free to grab whatever they want to support their own power growing .
The power of the Federal Government over the states has grown way out of proportion.
