Request for Item Print

background: I wanted to print 1674 in order to subject it to some rigorous analysis using other tools. I clicked on the permalink & it was the only one on the page. I then printed from my browser. The results printed everything on the page including the advertizement, headerstuff, buttons and 6 more pages of the lefthand tag list.

wish: I request a more user-friendly print of just an item and it's comments. There are lots of websites that can do this. They use a special link (button) to reformat the page for print. See foodtv.com for recipes as an example.

...unfortunately paper is still useful

My use of the print is similar to my printing of a google map before I go somewhere unfamiliar. I may want also to discuss an item with someone who is not online easily.
