Mob Rule & Liberal-Socialist Politics

There is of course Alinsky & the Rules for Radicals -

The rules

  1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."
  2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people.”
  3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
  4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
  5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
  6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
  7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
  8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”
  9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
  10. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."
  11. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”
  12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
  13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
This is what Saul Alinsky bequeathed to the Democrat Party & the liberals in government. The primary aim is power over the individuals by the collective & under authority of the government by passing laws & forcing Robin Hood ethics on those that have to redistribute to those that don't through crony centralized socialism.
Consider the mob aspect & what it does. Good intended collective solutions can be inflicted without considering the consequences. With a mob you can close down a business or bankrupt it.  You can force corporations to do anything to avod bad publicity & you can elect presidents with it. Look at Obamacare. THe consequences are higher taxes ( sold as going to be lower), unaffordable health care, less health resources & a silo of insurance money & big healthcare money going to government cronies.
Consider Monsanto. I have been very vocal in disapproving what they do. OTOH, passing laws as 16819 if passed you will see not only a scarcity of "mob approved food" , but also businesses & jobs going the way of scarcity.  Businesses will also have an excuse to raise their prices as costs of doing business rise.  The funny thing that is not available to the dumb mob is that the law won't achieve anything that self informed could do which is to choose alternative food & alternative food producers.  This is one case of what Alinsky described not in his Rules for Radicals : an unforseen bad outcome

Wrote Alinsky: “In war, the end justifies almost any means.” And for Alinsky, as for Lenin and now for Obama, politics is war. Thus a politician is justified in hiding his intention to ban guns while running for office, and likewise justified in reversing position and working “under the radar” for gun bans once in office. Also, a politician is justified in pointing out the problems with a healthcare mandate while running for office, and also justified in reversing course and pushing a healthcare mandate once in office.

These are the Rules for Radicals.

Fuck the Mob it has no brains - just juice & anger.
They're just a mob of pricks

In the end I buy food that is labeled voluntarily nonGMO & shun the crops which are most likely GMO like corn, soy etc.
What would be more productive than devoting part of the taxpayer silo of money to laws, lawyers & crony legislators would be developing a public database of the foodchain & which products, companies etc have GMO, chemical additives, antibiotics, arsenic etc.

Yep, there is NOT an app for that , yet

Rule #4 is why the lefties don't like principles. Someone might challenge them to live up to them.

It doesn't take a mob to trigger a dns , eh? Sorry, wrong number.  An example of mob action in Chicago happened a couple of days ago.
NBC Chicago: ...

Three Chicago-area Sports Authority stores have been ransacked by flash mobs in the past week, prompting the chain to offer a $5,000 reward for anyone with information on the caught-on-camera robberies.

Surveillance footage from the incidents shows a large group of people entering the stores and dashing out with entire racks or handfuls of sporting goods.

... video in the story

BTW in your link on the DNS the story had this near the end:
source: ... Of course, there's no way of knowing who wrote and posted the tool, which has been mentioned on social media sites. It's certainly possible that it's the work of critics of President Obama's healthcare legislation. But until we learn more, there's no way to rule out the possibility that it was developed by an Obamacare supporter with the hope of discrediting critics.
