Well whenever the heart, head, and hands are pulling in different directions you will certainly experience all manner of disturbance ...

for example ->

incidentally there is a sprectum ...
simple <--> complex
and confusion is just not in there, it is somewhere else.



"complexity being the flip side of confusion" ... is just .


that said, when we perceive complexity, we certainly can get confused.

Note that simple/complex and clearity/confusion are both polarities of mind ... they are both in and of the meta world.   Though, i am not sure about complexity ... that almost seems like a force of nature quite apart from the human apprehension of it.  So that is quite a little edge to think about.

Note also there is confusion of thought itself, no need to involve the other functions ... see A =/= A or 17289
