Note that the quality of interactions and relationships between individuals of a network dictate what emerges, chaos and war, or love and peace, or diaspora, or something else.  Note my Not in my network: taking sides item.
Note this is not about YOU!

It is about distributed social networks.
It is also not about your binary prejudging .

Well i really don't know to apprehend a social social network and how it distributes except to feel myself within it.   i really do tend not to have binary prejudging ... i think rather in spectrums.

But ok, just forget that train of thought i you want to study the technology of decentralized computer networks like dispora.  For some reason, they have not show up for me in a practical sense.  I tried dispora early on, but then it was a technical challenge to set myself up on it, and when i did there was nobody else there that i wanted to interact with.  Do you have a node there yourself?

Mark de LA says
Your (me,I) in/out network is less of a spectrum & more of a binary in/out.
I never really had interest in diaspora until it showed up in the news, maybe drudge.
Why don't you like domains.  I suspect some kind of aggregation is needed to factor out interests in a practically infinite network. You efforts in that direction seem to be local food & farming.

indidentally check out webid, there is a distributed network trying to emerge around linked data (aka semantic web) technology.  but again it is pretty much not practical yet.   but no, we don't need certralized networking like Facebook, twitter, and G+ ... we don't really need no stinking domains ... just that we can't seem to make  it work without them yet .

Well perhaps somebody needs to *own* the servers and they need motivation to do so.  That's why we have domains.  But information wise it is not necessary.  #thetoothlessfoodie is quite unique of a thingey to be identified to all who care.   That's why i say, we don't need no stinking domains.

Incidentally, you will be better able to hear what i write if you don't twist it into something that i did not write ... or associate it with something that sounds stupid to you.
Your ignorance as to the following is just about to spawn one of those shove it up your ass moments - see 17240 which be uncovered at critical mass.
Mazlov's rules of understanding?
  • be able to state what the distinctions are exactly as they are delivered to you
  • be able to restate them in your own words
  • be able to generate the distinctions out of your own being

I am over the first - particularly when the material sucks & in this format they are already there.

I do the second in order to see if I heard you right or can extrapolate what you said to some core meaning.

Never get to the third because of your twisty thingy listening obsession.  Your words are not God. Get it?

well i have no idea what is causeing your hostility towards what i say here ... and especially why it might be associated with my "morning game" (perhaps that was a typo).

I think a distributed network which is not owned by a political or business entity is a good thing ... er regardless of whether terrorist from the Islamic state also use it.   But it is difficult to make that work in practice.  That is all i am really saying.
look at the word twist - a frequent word favorite of yours when you are losing an argument - & maybe remember.
I think that independent networks are a good thing. Someone still owns the wires & electronics, though.

Well apparently we agree on the desirability of independent networks ... WHOOT WHOOT !

I'm not sure what all that other stuff was ... except maybe had something to do with you not wanting to hear me use the word "twist", and me not wanting to hear you twist.  I wonder to which neural network those transactions belong ... hmmm ....
STILL AT IT 17420 applies.
