I hate lies like this

About: political meme found and shared on G+

well to be just a bit honest about this ... it wasn't Obama who cut the deficit  ... mostly it was the republican controlled House of representatives.

YOU PUBLISHED it though. Obama can LIE all day long because he is just publishing what his political operatives put into his teleprompter - no responsibility there, eh?
seems you are hell bent on finding something wrong with what i did here ... hmmm ... and by george it's just got to be about obama.   Is that really what you want to happen to us here ?? ... is that your take on the matter at hand?  If so, then it is a unilateral transaction ... one hand clapping itself ... er, no consciousness increased ... just static amplified.

Me, all i am saying is that we should not tell political lies.   I want extreme honesty spoken of political matters ... not a single twist.

So that is not about me ... not even about the deficit ... definitely not about obama ... nor about a logical paradox.

The bottom of the last clock is interesting the GDP to debt & deficit ratios.

I like the debt clock better:
~2008

~2014

There are many ways to lower the budget deficit (not the national debt, btw)
  • raise taxes
  • spend less (that didn't happen) ~10Trillion versus now ~17Trillion
  • decimate heavy expenses like national defense
  • funny accounting (off budget versus on budget)
  • have what the Republicans did in the recent budgets automatic cuts across the board
  • have no budget at all like for the last few years

See the budget showdown - projected numbers here.

Sorry - left out the debt clock url.

i don't get your #meishit #whatseththinks or #kayze associations to this post.  After all it is my blog and therefore where i express what i think.   If you can add to what i am thinking, or even usefully oppose it directly, well then that will increase my awareness.  But if you talk about something unrelated, that is even uninteresting to me, well that is just #youshit (not #meshit).   Strange you don't seem to get the difference .

Publishing a lie & then in the fine print taking it away is like packaging a "healthy snack" with 50 ingredients in the fine print ... mostly chemicals & not real food.

well, there i tried to fix it .

it's interesting people rarely hear my comment on a meme, rather they go for the message of the meme itself.   it's like not noticing the big NOT before a proposition ... i do it myself lots of times ... miss shit going by or misinterpret it according to where i expect the world will be, rather than being sensitive to the actual signals.  Incidentally you did it too ... i did not "take back the lie" in my er small print ... rather i called the meme out as a lie.  Nevertheless some democrats  did not like my comments because they reflected badly on democrats, note my comments and the reactions to them.  But my message was actually all about honesty in politics ... so nobody, not even you picked up on my real concern.  Who knows, maybe politics is just too much of a hot button ... once pushed the mind kind of just goes crazy .
Why JUST NOT publish it in the first place.  I got the thingy, but the loudest message (like fire in a crowded auditorium) was the meme without the fine print or the thin red lines.

.... because, Dooh, I think it is very important that we emphasize honesty in politics and stop spreading these lies in political memes.  That is why i published it in the first place.   But, yeah sure, i could have spent much more time to make my message come out clearer.  Maybe next time ... or maybe i'll just go back to ignoring politics entirely as irrelevant to my real life.

Your publishing of the meme reminds me of the logical paradox:
I AM NOW LYING!

not really ... er, that is a twist.  I was not the person who penned the meme.  i mean, come on now, identity is important when talking about logical paradox.

Yep, whose memes are causing your sickness? You are making up your story, eh?

One symptom of what i percieve as a sickness between us is you tagging this item "meishit", "kayze", and "what seth thinks".  you might be able to perceive the part of that sickness that is in you by honestly accessing why you put those tags on this item.
Constant argumentativeness & your me,I separateness (ignoring or not reading what I write or addressing it ) is why those labels ,which I explained elsewhere ,are appropriate from my point of view.

Then too with all that "fed pumping" of the stock market
source: ...

Under President Obama, the richest 10 percent were the only income group of Americans to see their median incomes rise, according to a survey released this week by the Federal Reserve.

The Fed data covered the years 2010-2013, during which period Mr. Obama constantly campaigned against income inequality and won re-election by painting his Republican rival as a tool of Wall Street plutocrats.

“Data from the 2013 [Survey of Consumer Finances] confirm that the shares of income and wealth held by affluent families are at modern historically high levels,” the report said in noting that the median income fell for every 10-percent grouping except the most affluent 10 percent.

..... that's where all those top campaingn $$$$ come from .. the bubble may bust soon, probably after the mid-term election IMHO.

I don't care what you express.  I tagged it appropriately. You don't get that publishing a lie & taking it back in the fine print is any problem, while spinning it as if it is unhacking the meme.

Well the human mind actually is capable of comprehending thought about thought ... and improving it thereby.  It is almost a separate dimension of the metaworld.  Accusations on accusations on accusations ... what effect did yours have?  I suppose it did caution me to be more careful in distinguishing  what i quote from what i say.

You should know by now and accept that my agenda in this item was:  "Let us be radically honest with political memes!".  Do you not share that agenda?

But really i do not understand where your train of thought in those tags is going ... it just feels like some kind of giggy thing between you and I.  So do it just as you will, but at least hear me when i tell you that it feels like a disgusting sickness from my perspective.   If you can't articulate some common purpose with it, then you will do well to expect that i will ignore it in the future.
