well me thinks networks do have personalities and being. you for example. me for example. humanity for example. and yes that is my conception that i constructed by imagination and intuition. thing is networks actually do work. amazingly so

. the abstract part of that conception it just about what actually happens ... it is not what happens ... and what happens is that the network works ... er, amazingly.

I still struggle with book chameleon's poetic words & the meanings as later exposed in the Tai Shu commentary. Like P.1909 & the "Big Water brings good luck & perfect pleasure" don't seem to mix.

what i said stands quite apart from your private concerns ... they stand on their own ... it is not about you ... it is about the ocean. but i have no problem with privitizing this particular item ... it's just that you started responding to it and i thought it being public would allow something perhaps even interesting to happen.

comments on private items are public in news. it's always been that way. i thought you were well aware of that. in fact, it is hard for me to conceive of a world in which you didnt notice that.

Apparently I noticed it in 4184 in 2006. I guess I will have to keep all my diary entries in the item itself instead of putting them in comments. The challenge is that when I get a hex the second or 9th time I prefer not to repeat all the context I had preciously. Tags just don't cut it. Extra work, but fuck it.

yep ... actually i occasionally put private stuff in the body and not the comments just because i know that way it won't be hitting you in the face. just like i have started making some of my work items private that must needs keep coming up, just so they won't be seen in my blog by anyone who happens to come there.

news is a weird thing ... but i rather like it the way it is. it is no secret that we have different attitudes twords the public/private directions. it is not on my agenda to change in that regard.

strangely enough i noticed that you yourself used the feature just exactly like i did.

Strangely enough the content on [this: item 17828] reflects P.1909 rather well & was a premonition this AM before the item was created. My instinct, which I did not follow, was to remain quiet today.
