the power of reciprocity

might be interesting to consider complementary reciprocity, even antagonistic reciprocity, in relation to the other item in the room reciprocity.

there being many different ways to interact with another .... and for them to interact back ... your choice ... their choice ... mood and timing allowed for ... not to mention intent and agenda.

all of those within the dimensions of thinking, feeling, and doing ... on both sides.

complex enough for a lifetime of study, eh?

then too that interaction happens within the context of a society's interactions with both of you.

I think you have just discovered the word relationship & are trying to merge it into the word reciprocity.  Check out some entity relationship diagrams or maybe your mentography.

well reciprocity is already, as you put it "merged", with relationship ... not my doing ... just the way people have used these words since they were coined.  reciprocity is an aspect of a relationship.  you cannot have reciprocity without a relationship ... that would be category error like ... (hmmm might take me a moment to concieve of a catagory just as very dire, i'll let you know when i get it).
maybe ...
I see no difference given the way you are using the reciprocity word.

re a context of axology ... i am not so very sure that the term "intrinsic value" means anything.  Can you give me an example of something that has value in itself and does not get its value from its relationship to something else?

Incidentally in my study of representing knowledge, i discovered that outside of identity itself, a thingy is completely defined by its relationship to other thingies.
Everything is in relationship. So what? Question answered if you consider your Ego.

Quite so .  Ego is all ~just~ identity.  It's value being only to itself.

I'm quite not sure that it is just identity; nor whether it has any value at all!

An email exchange with PR which is related:
ME: Simply asked, during contemplation where do the "answers" come from?

PR: In simple, YOU. Not you as an identity but as the reality that is. What is actually True — beyond belief, self serving interests, preference, and even conceivability.

Well my experience as myself has value just to me.  I can not see how it can possibly be otherwise ... for only i can experience it.   Oh sure you can kind of see it as i publish things like selfies,  but you will experience those vicariously as  otherness ... certainly not as yourself.

I don't think there really is any thingey called "identity" ... rather there is a process of identifying ... of separating that which is that, from that which is not that.  So perhaps i should have said, "Ego is just the process of knowing who you are".

Maybe ...
... yeah kind of into that word lately, eh?   A skeptical approach to just about everything.  Me, i'm more into a MAKE IT SO kind of mode lately.  A will to be.  A thrust into the world.  A studious skepticism not being called for in my life.

Now tell me we are not different .
Negative resonance probably ... maybe prolixity.
