Consciousness is different from physical things. It is like spiritual light. It is a fundamental category of each elementary particle. As such it is not like weight or money that has a predetermined effect tzu increase or decrease.

In our book every Ultimate Particle has Consciousness, a Category concomitant with others such as Unity, Extension, Persistence, Motion i.e. each UP has an Ego, whose function is JUDGEMENT, which is expresses as a "statement" or "equation" properly quantified & qualified.

Well, me, i have not found the need to divide the world into conscious and not conscious ... into physical and spiritual. Rather i divide the world into that which i know and interact, and that which i do not. As it were, that which is in my network, and that which is not.

I think the stories and rumors of this physical/spiritual duality can be accounted for by a better understanding of how different aspects & categories interact in the same world.

You see everything has many aspects which look quite disparate, for example: what our arms can do because we have elbows, can not be seen by looking at the bone and sinew of a synovial joint. No those are completely different aspects of something that could be identified as the same thing.

Another radically different aspect of the same thing can be seen in the gliders and alternating figures as compared to the simple rules for Conway's Life game. Here the spirit of the gliders are different aspects of their manifestation by the cellular rules ... it is said the former emerges from the latter ... yet it can also be said the the instance of running rules are the gliders ... us apprehending just a different aspect of the event.

Just so awareness does not increase in the simple way that a bag of beans increases in weight by adding a bean ... each bean contributing its small "spiritual light". Rather let us say, it increases more like an amplified feedback signal does when the mic is too close to the speaker. Of course both of those are analogies ... the real things acting quiite different.

I doubt that you will understand this ... i write it not for you, but for myself. It is reaching for a story of consciousness that is more directly experiential than a consciousness "light" that magically appears from a mystical domain about which any author can say anything.

In this poem i portray different aspects of the same thing interacting in one unified world ...
