Did you make it particular to me, or can anyone with that URL that link and get the same access?

I think it is just for you.  I have other things in that drive.  I'm not sure exactly how much is shared - etc.

Challenge is, just like Picasso, we don't know how long it is likely to be stable.

.. & yep, I don't want other people to edit my stuff.

ok fine, so me pubilishing the invite URL above is not a disclosure since only I can use it

Well yes, long time persistence and maintenance of cloud storage is quite a gamble even today.  And let use not forget that it is an industry and an opportunity at the same time .

I bet that google docs (and the rest of its cloud) is going to be more stable over the next decade than fastblogit ... but not necessarily free.   I also bet that TheBrain is not going to be any more stable over that same decade as fastblogit.   Something to think about, no?

TheBrain is for my own research. The webbrain was just something I shared & doesn't have all the features as my desktop does without paying for newer editions.

Question  ... how can cfr's work find a persistent home into the digital age where people could see scans inside his published books and documents?   I wonder if there is a foundation that is doing that kind of thing now.

Breck's website is the best extant.  He is quite busy on other things like his art. Once in a while I run into something to add.  Considering that for my lifetime GW published at least a page per week to his membership, I estimate there may be approx. 3800 pages to scan of the Tai Shu.  Furthermore there is correspondence & many manuscripts & projective geometry study pages.  Most of it is not translatable via OCR to something searchable.  For the Webbrain I manually transcribed parts I thought to be nuggets. I would use some kind of networked database (Neo4j) or perhaps some tool like MindManager which output websites like icybermind.net
Anyway maybe the best approach may just be to learn how to read the Akashick Records quickly before we all go.

i don't believe in Akashick Records ... i believe in real ones.
Good for you. Enjoy!  Maybe subscribe to a backup system, maybe even a backup system for a backup system for a backup system .... it has worked so fucking well at fastblogit.

incidentally i did not know if you presumed that i still believe in the utility of the Akashnic Records.  I informed you of that fact so that you would know that any intention to rely on such to preserve CFR's life work, would not be something on which I would be cooperating with you.  I think that might be useful information for you to have ... especially because you first mention of it implied that is was a "practical" alternative.
none of this ./end>

Maybe watch the inspirational cartoon Epic & ask the character Nim Galuu for what you want to know

hmmm ... that sounds more like asking for something from the Akashic records ... more you thing, than mine
Tee Hee ...
so what? Your belief in something or not is not my concern.
Maybe I need to repeat this Zen Meme

hmmm ... i knew that already.

Did you not know that i knew it?
You apparently have the personal need to say over & over & over again that your me(I) is different from whatever I say ...enjoy!

well there was nothing of that message in what i just said.

All i am doing here is informing you of my  awareness that you are telling me something, with a specific qualia attached, that you must know that i already know.   I'm wondering, of course, whether you are aware of what you are doing to me ... but apparently you are oblivious to that ... and think that something else is happening here.

but of course this is some funny shit and quite related to other stuff that i am studying in 18160.

Me(I)-ness of the Bozo selfie that even he forgets (see above).

mark, honestly i have no idea precisely what you are saying to me here ... but unfortunately i suspect that, should i actually know precisely what you are saying to me,  it would leave a rather nasty feel in my ears ... hmmm ... i wonder if you can even taste that in your mouth after you said it ... or maybe it tasted quite different to you as evidinced by your "" gaffaw.

did you know that i would not be able to hear what you are actually saying to me ?

incidentally Archive.org has been doing a great job of preserving information for posterity.  They are the ones who are trying to keep up with saving the web ... go check old versions of fastblogit or speak to me catalog, if you doubt.   They are just such a foundation that i mentioned above.   Thanks for the example of Living Water.

I do believe that they do not charge the people who's material is being archived.

... or, like you say, just rely on akashic.spiritual ... that grand excuse in the sky
