Jace then edit within a group is a nightmare

It is too easy to get lost. I am trying to go thru the Marketing group and mark each one that warrants it private. The repositioning makes it easy to loose my place.

Perhaps we could put a page number on the list. I find that going to the permalink to edit one is a disaster - particularly if I delete an item no longer needed because I end up in a different group. Perhaps delete from a permalink should end up on an item within the group.

I wish I had a way to mark each item private in a group. It is almost impossible to do that & keep track of what I am doing.

I have a suggestion. How about a box on an item that you can check to return to that item within the room you are viewing it in. This could act as a roving anchor.

actually it does work that way in group rooms, but not in permalinks. so this is a deeper design problem than at first thought. navigating the river in sequence of occurance domain wide is a very important feature and not one that

will easily give up in favor of navigating back and forth in a group river. yet we need both. but we don't want to put more buttons on the screen to confuse people. hense we have a real

definitional design problem here .
